So let's say Gross really wasn't sure but didn't want to commit to coming back and didn't want to put the Panthers in a position to the possibility. Forcing the Panthers to address life without him. We've all seen this little game played before. Vet is about done, does want to do off season workouts, mini camps, or preseason training.

So does Gross sit at home and wait? Watches what the team does? And if he likes what he sees says, " If you want me or need me I'm available."?

Or is he just done?

Its about the disrespect/ lack of money with Gross. We had him for 3 more years, voided the years, and then paid him half what he was worth last season.

He knew that he was done after the season before it started. It's not happening.

Zero, he's already down to 275. He's not playing again.

He's already lost a lot of the weight. It might take him a full season just to look like a left tackle again.

Are you sure you're not thinking of Brett Favre? Or possibly even Tony Gonzalez (pending)?

I think there is a better chance of Freddie Mercury coming back and touring with Queen

that ship has sailed.

it's not about the panthers. it's about a still healthy young dad set up financially to spend the rest of his life with his family and friends without the stress mentally and physically of having to play pro football anymore.

time to move on.
