I love this revisionist history. There's an unfounded rumor a few years ago that Smitty demanded a trade. It dies a quiet death like most BS rumors. Now all of a sudden people are bringing it back up as if it actually happened. I hate this sort of tomfoolery.

So let's compare one of the best seasons any WR has ever had to a season of a 34 year old with a poo OC.

Cool story.

I never would have predicted that this guy would post such a thing. This is just so out of character.

Steve Smith demanded a trade just 3 years ago.

Steve Smith won't take a pay cut to match his production.

Stop acting like 15-yo girls. He isn't worth his salary. He gave up his right to go out on his own terms when he sucker punched 3 teammates & demanded to be traded.

Dude, Com'on. Quit acting liking a spoiled child. Please, just take a moment or two before you hit send.

You can get just as much attention, if not more, from a well thought out response than you can from the drivel you spew now.

For example, you could say that because of our Offense last year could make Smitty look mortal he is not worth his money. Cuz, you know, his contract is the only thing making folks nervous. Because if it weren't for that cap hit, no one would want him gone.

But then again...this is the interwebz. Where any Tom, Dick, or Harry with a smart device, or computer for us old timers, can beg for attention. IN which case, you are free to continue.

Kids, you gotta love em'. Cuz you sure can't kill em'. What ever happened to thinning the herd?

I've posted several times that I see the logic in letting Smitty go, but I can't help but think that if it were Proehl or Welker, Bats would be howling like his stated "15 year old" at a Biber concert...
