I'm not one of those people to suspect things, but the timing and circumstances of these retirements are a little weird.

Good. All of our sucky linemen are retiring besides Gross. He doesn't suck.

Looks like #1 pick is OL

So basically we need a new OL outside Kalil, we need a new #1 receiver, a new #2 receiver, probably even a #3 receiver.

Yeah, this is going to be interesting.

Bell, Silatolu, Kalil, Wharton, Williams.....Kug as depth.   Not the best.....could be worse.  We might need to find one new starter and depth....but I think we can over come it.  Offense couldn't be much worse then it was towards the end of last season.

One of the bottom ranked offenses last year keeps getting thinner, not to mention we are trying to trade our only WR under contract.

It's March though, I'm waiting for the draft.

We're going to replace them with bigger lineman.  Those positions can be upgraded in size and athleticism in rounds 4 through 6.  Smitty leaves and Nix comes. Draft Benjamin in the first, OL in the second, another wr in 3 rd,

I don't consider Nicks an outright replacement for Smith. I would welcome the addition, but that expectation would not be attached.

Hopefully with a full set of draft picks we can address much of that, and maybe even have someone fall to us again.
