Losing our special teams captain is pretty fugging important. We've already lost Gross and could lose Smitty, both of whom are captains. That's a potential loss of half of our captains.

I wish we coulda kept him. My guess is that he didn't want to re-sign here bc he had virtually no shot at a LB spot, not that we didn't want him.

Really don't understand why we let him get away, he's been a vital s.t component for years and would have come dirt cheap. It's not that he cant be replaced but it would have took less effort to resign than find a replacement ::shruggs::
