2014 NBA PLAYOFF MATCHUPS (Round 2)

I will say this - to me, it's not the seed but the opponent IMO.  Since I don't think a 4th or higher is realistic at this point to get a home-court advantage in the series, I wouldn't mind the eighth spot as long as we get Indiana in the first round and Miami doesn't leapfrog them.

I feel that against the Pacers or Raptors we would be okay, but Miami would sweep us.  The Bulls would give us fits as well, so I will go with either the eight or six spot assuming the top four stay as is.  I feel that would give us the best chance to win a playoff game, perhaps series, under the Bobcats name before it is retired.

this has been discussed a lot on here. everyone agrees on its better to play indy

So we're still only 2.5 back of the Wiz with 2 games left against them. Nice.

Atlanta lost to NO as well. Looking pretty decent if we can beat Portland.

Wizards have the Nuggets tom. If the Nuggets can somehow get the win we will only be 2 games behind Washington.

New Jersey is finally playing like the team everybody thought they would be. They're peaking at the perfect time. Meanwhile, Indy & Miami are cooling off.

If the Cats don't catch Washington they'll be 1 & done in 4-5 games. Gotta pass them.

Wizards come to Charlotte on the 31st. That's a must win game. Charlotte need 2 of 3 before then. There is a good chance Washington goes 2-2 or 1-3 heading into that game.

WAS-

at DEN

vs PHX

vs IND

vs ATL

at CHA

CHA-

vs HOU

vs BKN

at ORL

vs WAS

If WAS goes 2-2 & CHA goes 2-1, then beats Washington...

WAS 38-36

CHA 37-37

So basically we need to swipe one from either Houston or Brooklyn. I'll take my chances with that, especially considering that game last night (Blazers for future reference).
