Business move or not.  Smart move or not, I don't care.  Good thing I'm not GM.

I'm sure it's Smith's fault that the Panthers didn't ask him to restructure.

Anyway, thank you smitty.

I grew up watching you and giving you super hero status.

And a special thanks for coming back to sign my hat instead of ignoring me and walking back to the dorms.

Nobody does well in Baltimore...

You serious?

I love the Panthers as much as anyone, but in terms of franchise history and individual players, the Ravens stomp our guts out.

You know if Smith doesn't break his leg in 2004 he's damn near close to 14,000 yds. Without a doubt a HOF talent. Get some in Baltimore Smitty.

If that whole season had been a bit less snake-bitten he might have a ring as well. 2004 was one of the most disappointing years as a sports fan I can remember. Jake at his best, Moose, Davis, Smitty, a defense that pretty much all came back--ruined by 15 IRs involved almost exclusively key players.

I've been meaning to ask this for a while: anyone know where I can locate the NFL films reel of the 2003 Rams game? It has some truly epic music over the Smitty touchdown catch.

At 55 years old and a really down to earth kind of guy, I can not keep my eyes dry watching the highlights and interviews.
