who has less sacks next year peppers or allen?

Depends on how many games Peppers plays in, and how many he plays in.

He wants a ring, can't blame him.

Too bad he missed it by one year. They won't repeat.

Definitely got a arms race going on out west. Hope we add some more artillery before the season starts.

Hard to say right now of course, but I give them a pretty decent chance. They are still the team to beat in the NFC.

Not impressed at this stage of career. Has the smallest arms I've ever seen on a DE and overruns and/or gets pushed out of most plays. Bad signing, he's just a name now.

What? He had 11.5 sacks, 6 PD and 3 FF last year while being the focal point of protection.

That's a hell of a lot more than just a name.

Why? Viking fans are not even upset, he is simply not the same player he used to be.

they lost clemons who is essentially allen at this age...not much of a difference. not to mention they lost their best wr and have yet to resign baldwin or rice. They lost browner and thurmond. They won't be as good this season, that's for sure. Playoffs yes, superbowl, no

Why is everyone bashing the dude. He didn't reach 18 sacks as per his usual self. Our guy has 15 sacks(from about 4 games) and we throw 13 million at him. Allen would've been more cost effective for us until we found a suitable replacement via the draft.

If they use him strickly as a pass specialist, which is what they are going to do....

Damn that defense just got better!

So far, terms have not been disclosed so a lot depends on that obviously. Was this a great signing? No. Was it a good signing? Maybe depending on the deal, but the guy is an absolute liability as an every down DE. He simply can't hold the point of attack and for all his flare he is physically weak as a DE.
