I'm beginning to like the idea of OL in the first round more than WR.

I still don't see the value in the OT's that are projected to be there at 28.

There is the slim possibility that Taylor Lewan could fall.

(now go search the web for another instance of the word 'slim' being used in a discussion of Taylor Lewan)

More likely prospect at this stage would be Zach Martin, who I could see following a similar career path to our old buddy Jordan Gross (i.e. starting at another spot before going to left tackle).

Of course, there's also this...

Slim possibility as in .01%.

If Lewan was there, hell yeah.  But overall, I agree.  There's likely to be better value elsewhere at #28.

WR or CB has to best value at 28 OL is just not cutting in the first outside the top 3 guys.

He could develop in three of four years, definitely worth a pick.

The more I read up on this guy the more I really really want him. I have a hunch this guy won't get to us at the end of the 2nd. A reach to take him at 28? Probably so but this guy 100% passes the eyeball test. Whoever earlier says he reminds them of Julio Jones I completely agree. From the frame to how he positions himself to make a catch. Damn. (Not saying this guy is going to be Julio or has the exact athleticism/measurables as him, but there are similarities between the 2).

I love him but I don't think you can reach on him at 28. Just so much depth out there at WR and have to be patient. You can almost guarantee someone like Marqise, Landry, Martavis (whose skill set fits perfect with Cam) will be there 2nd to 4th rounds. Latimer just might be sitting there in the 4th or 5th.

Value and contribution wise, I like Kyle Fuller probably the most but I just want a weapon on offense like crazay

What I glean from this thread: everyone likes the guy except Nolan Nawrocki. Cause that guy is a douche.

As deep as the wr class is this year, I think it's possible to go o-line in the 1st and still get a very good receiver later on...

I am hoping he is our 3rd round pick. In this deep draft there's a decent chance he lasts that long. WR/OT/WR is my hope - something like Lee/James/Latimer. Kick Bell back to RT and give Cam some serious weapons to grow with.

But deep down we all know Gettleman is picking offensive line with the first three picks right?

6'3, 215, 4.40 time with a 39" vertical, fearless over the middle, has great hands and is a decent route runner? What is not to like, I like the idea he will be there around rounds 3 and 4. Taking a chance on him then will be an easy decision.
