The Clinton v. Bush possibility

I figured this topic will pop up eventually if it already hasn't.  Also, I'm sure the media will begin to talk about primary candidates a ton by the year's end so had some questions:

  • Is this shaping up to be a Hilary v. Jeb contest or is it another Hilary v. Giuliani prediction that will end up not happening?
  • Outside of those two, who really has the best shot on each side?
  • If it is Bush v. Clinton, can you foresee a legitimate Independent rising? (He'd have to be loaded with adequate donors)
  • Have any sleepers?
  • Who do you think it ends up being vying for the office?

So let it be written, so let it be done!

The middle class apocalypse is upon us!

Resistance is futile!

Everyone make peace with the invisible sky god of your choosing and prepare to kiss moderately well paying American jobs goodbye as they're offshored to more economical third world nations!

All in the name of crony capitalist profits.

Thanks USSC for equating corporations with people and money with free speech!

Come to the Dark Side!

The plutocracy has spoken: Clinton vs. Bush.

"Choose, choose the form of the Destructor"

I'll bet the Republicans put away the "we can't elect a President without foreign policy experience!" trope away for this one what do you think?

However look for doubling down on "embolden" "Bengazi" and so on - I've already seen "defeat the Bitch in 2016!" on FB, so that whole more inclusive, thoughtful RNC thing really hasn't panned out so far

He's done some questionable things, but he was not a terrible governor. My concern is that the RNC will use him as a puppet like they did with Dubya.

I feel like most GOP candidates have been puppets lately, watching them warp to pander to their base and the tea party. John McCain and Mitt Romney are great men, but I'll never vote GOP if they don't actually let their candidates run on a more reasonable platform.
