There must be a super secret prize for being the first to post that in every topic.

We can carry 5 DE and 5 DT. 10 to 9 players on the D line is pretty normal fo this team.

We're one of the few teams in the NFL that have this kind of D-line depth.

4 last year.

We have Hardy and Alexander who can move inside in a pinch, and a backup OL who can play DT -- I don't expect us to exceed 4.  I think Gaydosh is a 2-year project anyway, especially after his injury.  Year 3 would be a perfect time to step up because Edwards is in his last year.

Cole and Star will man the nose.  Shorty and Edwards will man the 3-tech.  (I think the DL is set)

Can he play LT?

No he can't..........thanks for asking.

PS........... his signing does add strength to the dline and allows us to pursue other positions of need in the draft.

Yee. Now let's hope that Gettleman does actually sign him.

Underrated guy. Was valuable when Dwan had a stretch of DNPs.

I am not claiming that PFF is the definitive source for anything but they only gave him a positive run stopping grade for one game last season. He's pretty much just a guy. But he is a known guy and I don't think much more is needed.

PFF is just a opinion. maybe a more informed one, but still opinion based.

cole was part of the glue and very underrated. on running downs panthers would put cole with star(at the 3tech), safe to say it made getting positive yards harder.  to me he had a hand in the #2 defensive success.

Just a guy grade is good enough for a minimum vage rotation veteran.

No suprise he does not get to the qb on pass rush. 340 pounds guys that do are being payed $10M.

On run defense, holding his ground but not making tackles will earn you a small negative grade. However, this is all that is asked of him with Luke and Davis behind.
