Most of you probably won't see this in time, but Mars is visible tonight. Wish I had known sooner. If you're on the east coast, look south. It's brighter than any star tonight, so it's easy to pick out. Pretty clear night from where I'm at, so I found it quick. It has a slight hint of red, even with the naked eye. If you have a telescope or a camera with good zoom capabilities, you can get a pretty good shot of it.

Thanks for the heads up. It really sticks out like a sore thumb in the night sky.

Meteor shower is starting soon and will be visible almost everywhere. At its peak it will be 15-20 per hour
