I love my Ale's and Potters, Dead Guy is always a favorite of mine and NoDa used to have a awesome Porter called to Choco loco and there's another Called the Vanilla Porter that is awesome too.

BTW NoDa did just win the IPA Gold in the Beer World cup so that one must be worth a try, I've not had their IPA yet but will do next time I'm in Charlotte.

A lot of what I drink is seasonal, I miss my pumpkin beer, but just some of the constant favorites found in my fridge...

  • Duck Rabbit Milk Stout
  • Terrapin Wake & Bake
  • Terrapin Moo-Hoo
  • Dogfish's Miles Davis Bitches Brew (when I can find it)

Never been a big IPA person, but Porters and Stouts are usually what I choose. For anyone in the middle of the state, my hometown (Siler City) is having a craft beer, BBQ, and bluegrass festival May 3rd. Come get drunk and eat meat.

The Wake & Bake and the Milk Stout are both excellent, I've tried them before, the Milk stout on many occasions.

As odd as one would think, Kirkland beer is really good especially for the price. Evil Twin's Imperial Doughnut Break

Man....no reason to take it so personally. It's not like the claim that NC is one of the best craft states is completely out of line. We all get that you disagree. It's fine.

I stopped by NoDa for a few beers a little bit ago. I tried to get some Hop Drop cans for the road and they're all sold out. They said the only places in the city that have them are the Common Market in SouthEnd and Whole Foods. Dropped by CM on the way home and grabbed the last two packs. Guess that gold medal they got is really blowing it up.

Yeah if you like rednecks and white trash. NC hates the gays, science, and anyone who disagrees with the republican party.

Heaven is being able to drink in a casino, 45 minutes from the best skiing, and most importantly not have a state that is so in debt it wants to tax everything.
