#2105828 Why i think well take a WR at the top of the draft

Posted by Panthers4lyfe on 20 January 2013 - 09:53 AM

rueben randle-LSU, jerrel jernigan-Troy, Hakeem Nicks-UNC, Ramses Barden-Cal.Poly, Mario Manningham-Michigan, Steve Smith-USC Trojans, Sinorice Moss-The U.. so 1 guy out of 7 played in the SEC and your so defensive that they immediately ALL became overrated SEC players? come on man. you really gotta let up on trying to give people crap, plus you suck at it lol

#2105307 My Case for drafting Kennan Allen and Matt Elam.

Posted by Panthers4lyfe on 19 January 2013 - 07:50 PM

He missed the last 3 games of the season with a LEFT KNEE INJURY.

Do not even attempt to argue with me, you will be wrong every time.

Cordarrelle Patterson is the only receiver worthy of a top 15 pick as of right now.

it's like your goal on the huddle is to bash people, who in the end want the panthers to succeed just like you. it's truely a shame. But since you like to do it, i will as well. Can you not read??? He said trade down into the 20's and take kennan allen and an offensive lineman with the extra pick. Therefore keenan allen doesn't have to be worthy of a top 15 pick. Read and Think before you react, don't just set out to be a douche

#2051558 Steve Smith needs 105 yards

Posted by Panthers4lyfe on 17 December 2012 - 06:53 PM

yep and according to coaches luke kuechly has 174 tackles on the year tying a franchise record... with 2 games to go, what a monster

#2047316 How many more players do we need to make a playoff run?

Posted by Panthers4lyfe on 15 December 2012 - 05:15 PM

personally i think the team we have right now is a playoff caliber team. i feel the coaching staff is holding them back late in games.. we are 4-9.. of those 9 losses we have had the lead late in the game in 5 of them: @atl, vs. SEA, vs. DAL, @CHI, vs TB. Should have won all those games and arguably our 1st game @TB shoulda been a win. this was the same case last year, blowing games at the end and to me that all falls on the coaching staff. we will only get better in the offseason but the only changes that truely need to be made is the HC, OC, ST. we have talent.. all im getting at is if we have and aggressive staff who excels in having a killer mentality and putting these games away we would be 9-4 and fighting for a 1st round bye.

#1968747 Panthers Will Beat the Redskins

Posted by Panthers4lyfe on 28 October 2012 - 06:02 PM

Nah, we'll probably just dominate the entire game, then poo the bed when it actually matters.

This team could be 6-1 just as easily as we are 1-6.

and this is the reason this entire season is so frustrating

#1931295 how long did the falcons have 6 OL on the field?

Posted by Panthers4lyfe on 02 October 2012 - 12:02 PM

i was at the game guys.. they had 6 linemen in the game for at LEAST 25-30 snaps.. the refs were constantly saying 60 is an eligible reciever

#1907776 Peyton is learning the Foxy philosophy quick

Posted by Panthers4lyfe on 19 September 2012 - 06:11 PM

@PostBroncos: Manning's response to a question about his arm strength: "I am what I am. It is what it is. Whatever." Indeed.

hahahahahahaha 2 weeks into the season.. foxy at its finest

#1883614 Optimism about our Special Teams

Posted by Panthers4lyfe on 03 September 2012 - 01:59 PM

We just acquired Colin Jones who will be one of our gunners, for the 9ers last year he was repeatedly the 1st one down the field.. Here's a look at a play he made in what at the time was his biggest game of his life: Fast forward to 3:50

Other other gunner should be Capt, he's always been one of our best ST players in recent years.. we all know what he can do out there.

Another guy who may be on the list of guys possibly who could be inactive on sundays could be kenny onatolu.. but if he is active he could make an impact on special teams.. he was the best ST player on the vikes which is where our ST coach came from so he knows what he's getting.Heres an 8min video, but gives you an idea of what he can do on ST.

Mike Tolbert, he figures to see a good amount of time on offense but he will also play a role on our ST, hes a solid tackler and heres a look at another option he gives us on ST. a tolbert vid but ST play at 1:10.

We also have Jordan Senn who is a very active guy with a high motor. He'll continue to be a solid special teams player.

Lastly.. We have Joe Adams who will have his fair share of returns for a loss trying to make something happen, but he will also have some jaw dropping returns that could make him a fan favorite. Most have been overlooking the impact he could have on our offense, not that he'll be playing on offense but he will give our offense better field position giving us more scoring opportunities. Won't be starting at the 20 every drive i should say lol. heres a look at what kinda impact he could have for this team.. He had 5 punt returns in 2 years, here is a look at all 5

All in all i think our ST's will be better than last year. in the preseason we didn't get to see all our ST guys on the field all together at one time. this sunday is when it begins to count, so let's stop freaking out about it and wait til the reg season to freak out guys. this team has serious potential and let's give them a chance before we shoot this part of our team down. Go Panthers and i am ready for a fantastic season with HUGE expectations.
