Tougher, more physically talented teams tend to be the aggressors and get fouled more often. UNC plays a "finesse" game- the FT discrepancy should be no surprise. There were bad calls each way so I won't call it a well-reffed game, but it wasn't unfair. UNC got outplayed and outcoached from the outset, it's absurd to blame the score on the refs. If anything it wasn't as close as the score indicated. UK was completely in control at all times. I also think UNC shouldn't be too discouraged, they played as well as they can expect given the talent differential between the two teams.
If you were to immediately take him off the team and give him to a competent franchise with real NFL-caliber coaches and players, I think he would be salvagable. But two more years of this and Cam will be done. He's getting killed out there, learning bad habits, not getting the coaching he needs, and being forced to play with awful teammates. At some point the damage we do to him will be irreparable. Getting drafted by Carolina was the worst thing that could have happened to him.
Like I said, current age Wade doesn't qualify. He's too old to be a "franchise" anything.
Then vote for somebody else, good grief, why is this even a thing. More options > fewer options. Scrubs like Waiters and Hardaway Jr aren't realistic options either, but it's nice to put the other guys into context.
