#3135711 Would You Rather Face Manziel or Hoyer?

I gain more and more respect for Mike Evans abilities after every snap I see Manziel take.

#3135694 Hornets Losing Fans because of T-Shirts

I suspect the Hornets awful play is costing them far more fans.

#3132394 Are #70 and #68 the best rookie OG tandem in the NFL?

Posted by Keith Moons Liver on 13 December 2014 - 07:07 PM

1. How many rookie OG tandems are there even?

2. How many of them are starting? Few teams besides the Panthers are desperate enough to start multiple rookies on the oline.

Even if the question in the topic title is true, I don't think this is a distinction that is necessarily a good thing.

Tougher, more physically talented teams tend to be the aggressors and get fouled more often. UNC plays a "finesse" game- the FT discrepancy should be no surprise. There were bad calls each way so I won't call it a well-reffed game, but it wasn't unfair. UNC got outplayed and outcoached from the outset, it's absurd to blame the score on the refs. If anything it wasn't as close as the score indicated. UK was completely in control at all times. I also think UNC shouldn't be too discouraged, they played as well as they can expect given the talent differential between the two teams.

#3124649 Can you hope again?

Don't be dumb. Good grief if a few meaningless late season wins keep that idiots job safe we are never going to see any kind of consistent success. We've been here before. Learn from history.

If you were to immediately take him off the team and give him to a competent franchise with real NFL-caliber coaches and players, I think he would be salvagable. But two more years of this and Cam will be done. He's getting killed out there, learning bad habits, not getting the coaching he needs, and being forced to play with awful teammates. At some point the damage we do to him will be irreparable. Getting drafted by Carolina was the worst thing that could have happened to him.

Travel, but they consistently don't call that in the NBA these days. Offense reigns supreme.

#3113123 So who's actaully to blame here?!

Most front offices in the league wouldn't have hired him in the first place. That's the difference between us and real NFL franchises.

Whatever creature birthed JR.

#3111974 Does Cam want to go?

I think there's a good chance we manage to ruin him. We are well on our way.

At least someone on this team blocks.

Great news. If nothing else, every minute he spends tweeting is a minute he isn't beating on a woman.

Because we get run over every week?

#3103437 Your Franchise SG

Like I said, current age Wade doesn't qualify. He's too old to be a "franchise" anything.

Then vote for somebody else, good grief, why is this even a thing. More options > fewer options. Scrubs like Waiters and Hardaway Jr aren't realistic options either, but it's nice to put the other guys into context.

Cousins seems like the only reasonable pick. Young and ridiculously good. The other guys at or near his level are old. I've always thought the headcase thing was overblown. He's grown up.
