#3088394 Hornets vs Warriors Game Thread

How does a team with Al, Lance, Kemba, MKG, Neal, etc get blown the fug out?!?

Because of a team with Klay, Steph, Bogut, Treymond, Barnes and Iguadola.

#3087535 Lol at Steve Smith Doing a Great Job Trolling Us.

Posted by Montsta on 15 November 2014 - 01:46 AM

Have they been cut or traded the way he has though?

It was personal, so it's going to stay personal to Steve for a while. The question is why are you guys bitter. Its not like he said fug the fans. This falls on Dave and Ron. And let's be clear if you consider what Dave & Ron did as including you, well I guess you should be bitter

Or maybe its because a lot thought he wouldn't have the year he's had, the year Ravens has had and many thought we're better off with Dave 3rd stringers

I think fans sometimes have a fairy tale view of a player staying on the same team their whole career, winning a Super Bowl, and retiring on top.

I don't see how what happened with Steve was different than any other player that gets cut, and I've seen nothing outside of fan speculation that it was somehow personal.

Just my opinion though.

You can love him or not, but only the most blind fan of Steve Smith would say it isn't crystal clear that he is extraordinarily bitter. And petty.

Steve is a sad, sad, sad little man. He isn't trolling anyone. He is just embarrassing himself.

And yet you still banged strippers. That's getting poo done right there.

Strippers dig ex-convicts.

That I didn't take the bus was a plus.

I used to drive a Fiero. The headlights were propped up with a paint stir stick.

I would yearn for a Lumina daily.

#3081864 Ron is live!

Posted by Montsta on 11 November 2014 - 01:41 PM

I've defended Ron up until this morning, even through last nights ass reaming, but this guy has got to go.

I realize you aren't going to say yeah our team is dogshit at a presser, but he needs to be saying yes, changes are coming for those not doing their jobs.

#3081480 IR Cam

Posted by Montsta on 11 November 2014 - 11:39 AM

Not sure Cam would succumb to the "David Carr" effect. Cam has played at a high level in the NFL and he knows he can play. Cam understands that it's his team mates and not him. 2 pro bowls in 3 years

David Carr was ruined from day one. Beaten into a pulp like a baby seal.

I don't think that "The David Carr Effect" is indicative of a player believing in his ability to play at a high level.

I think it's more because a player gets hit so early and so often, seemingly every single snap with Cam, that it hinders his development drastically and his ability to go through his progressions.

It looks to me like Cam gets absolutely hammered so often that even when there isn't pressure in his face, which again, is almost every snap, he is so used to getting hit that he gets rid of the ball with bad mechanics, no progressional reads, just flingin' it downfield.

I wholeheartedly agree that Cam should be IR'd for his health and his development. If DA comes in with this poo team an looks good, then maybe we can give some credibility to the people that think it's Cam that is the problem. If he looks like hot dogshit, then we saved Cam a beating and a shell-shocked psyche, and try to retool this thing for next year.

Let's not forget that with every passing game, KB is showing the world why he nearly fell to the 2nd round. Probably should have fallen to the 3rd, maybe 4th.

#3075833 Monday Night Football Score Predictions

Posted by Montsta on 10 November 2014 - 02:35 PM

23-20 Panthers.

We drive down and score on our first possession of the game and look great. Mix in a few field goals and punts in the middle, score a TD in the fourth for the win.

Bonus: KB goes off for 125+ yards and two TD's, giving me enough points in fanduel to win $12.

#3073547 Talk of Peterson and Rice coming back quickly...

Posted by Montsta on 09 November 2014 - 11:05 AM

Hardy won't be back because of a technicality. Yeah, he signed the agreement to not come back until the case was adjudicated, but that was understood to be in November. If he misses more it's his lawyer or the PA he should be mad at for not having the foresight to know the case was likely to get pushed back. It's sad because his case is less appalling than either of those two, but he truly believes himself to be innocent and isn't trying to just plea some bullshit to come back.

The NFL is not punishing Hardy by placing him on paid leave. The only ones getting punished are Panthers fans and Hardy's teammates. This whole thing makes me sick.

#3073065 Could it be worse than Green Bay?

I must be the only one here that thinks we beat Philly. Not easily by any means, but at the end of the game we win by double digits.

#3071075 Report: Greg Hardy's Panthers career likely over

Posted by Montsta on 06 November 2014 - 05:13 PM

The Panthers would love to get any production for their 13 mil this season, but there won't be a contract for future seasons.

Of course you know how much I respect what you do for us here and appreciate the knowledge you bring to this board...but I hope this prediction goes the way of the Terre McClain pro bowl prediction.

Leaving Jaguars fandom to join Panthers fandom is like leaving Mathletes to join the Trekkie club because you weren't getting laid enough.

Welcome aboard to the North Carolina version of the factory of sadness though!
