#3129222 What is your excitement level for this game?

Posted by Montsta on 10 December 2014 - 05:22 PM

8.

We are in the thick of the playoff hunt and if DA can win this game for us, Cam Newton will come back with a vengeance and a newfound respect for the life and talents he was given.

He will have a Rodgers-esque run in the playoffs and we will be the first team in history to hoist the Lombardi with a losing record in the regular season.

Thank you for IQ-shaming me. 😔

#3129072 NFL OKs New Conduct Policy

Posted by Montsta on 10 December 2014 - 03:47 PM

In theory. That is definitely how it should work. That doesn't mean anything once major media starts running stories or people that don't really give poo about the issue start tweeting about it. The NFL has shown that it will bend over backward and spread its cheeks if people bad mouth it loud enough.

Those "domestic violence is a hard subject to talk about" ads make me want to vomit.

Like really?! Cris fuging Carter is going to be your spokesperson for American morality?!

I'll bet one month of all pro access to someone that TD comes out of the tunnel waving a #1 jersey if Cam isn't there.

Then he will proceed to dominate.

• The policy will implement an element of leave with pay during investigations of persons charged with violent crimes.

This is kinda scary IMO. Before this year I had never heard of the commissioner's exempt list. This gives the league the power to indefinitely suspend with pay any player accused of a "violent" crime, and then suspend them WITHOUT pay after the process concludes.

If you think this team was reluctant to sign players with a troubled history before, then just wait.

Teams will be VERY reluctant to give guys chances now I think. Being able to suspend a bad apple and get your money back is one thing. Them being paid to sit for potentially multiple seasons is another.

I'm seriously considering firing someone in my office that keeps making jokes about it. She's a total idiot to begin with, but you're right, people have no filter and think it's funny. Put any one of them in Cam's situation and they wouldn't be joking about it, that's a fact.

Fire her on Christmas Eve and see if she thinks that is funny.

I put usually $100 every year on the Panthers to win. I only got 60-1 this year.

Let him wait it out with no IR. We are just going to sign and cut Chris Ogbosnehdjaya four more times anyway.

Can you imagine running to a flipped monster truck after an accident to see if the driver is ok and its Cam Newton?! I'd freeze up and he'd have a look like "um, little help please."

Only the Huddle can turn a story about Cam getting into an car accident into a b*tchfest about Johnny Manziel.

It's on the front page of ESPN now people......step away from the ledge.

Saying that espn is a despicable network because it's more important for them to cover a second string hype machine over a player getting into what was thought to be a very serious car accident = suicidal?

To be fair ESPN (TV) is reporting on nothing else right now. Not even another headline or ticker feed.

Ok I'm at work and I was getting pissed, like write a letter to disney and tell them I'm going to assassinate Mickey Mouse pissed.

The fact that Manziel is getting his first start is on ESPN's front page and Cam being injured is a small blurb says all you need to know about that despicable fuging network.

He should nickname his truck "offensive line" because it did just enough to not get him killed.

Plus it is big and fat and stupid.

#3126486 #CrimingWhileWhite Opens A Prism On Police And Race

I'm white and I've been arrested ~20 times, been to prison, and been harassed and physically injured by cops for no reason. Every single time the cops were dicks before I even got started.

I'm not going to be ignorant and say that cops profiling blacks and fuging with them isn't a problem, but to think white people just bat there eyelashes and walk away is absurd.

All these hashtags must live in very upscale areas. Of course cops don't fug with you in your A8 Audi driving down the streets of Calabasas.
