Can he be converted to a super hard smashing SS? That would be cool in Madden.

#3332869 Future Splash Brothers in Charlotte - Curry, Hairston ?

The NBA cap is going way up. The dubs will pay Curry whatever they need to. Sorry guys, he's not going anywhere.

#3332560 NBA Playoffs are here!

That moment you wake up after going to bed with the Dubs down 20 and you DVR the game but it's ruined by a sportscenter alert on your phone in the morning.

Sorry Chaos.

It's just the nature of the beast in sports bro.

My season tix for the A's are field level $32/seat. Same tix at the SF Giants are $80+.

O.co Coliseum is a shithole, AT&T park is the nicest park in baseball.

I'm sure it's the same kinda deal with the Cowboys stadium.

#3332100 NFL states they will 'no longer rely on the legal system'

Posted by Montsta on 23 April 2015 - 03:24 PM

I really dont care what policy the NFL uses just as long as they are consistent about it.

This is ultimately my gripe right here and why I keep commenting in these threads.

The NFL makes up rules as they go along. Players getting DUI charges right now are common and forgotten. If a marquee player gets drunk and kills a bus full of children, you can't then say oh hey other guy who also got a DUI your suspension is now 27 games because MADD is picketing outside of stadiums and are image looks bad, even though the suspension was two games when you committed your violation and yours had nothing to do with the other guys.

It's not that these players are victims and I feel bad for them, it's that the NFL makes a mockery of everything they have collectively bargained for just because they feel like it.

This is also why the NFLPA is a joke and gets buttfuged every time there are negotiations for anything.

It's actually 27 games, two of them being in the playoffs.

Welcome to how the world works, NFL players.

If I act like a dumbass and conduct myself in a way that makes my company look bad, I will no longer be employed.

You drove all over the country in a Chevy Aveo compact and posted it on social media. I'm pretty sure there is nothing you could do to get fired from your job there SCP. :)

#3332082 Greg Hardy suspended 10 games

Thanks.

Actually I have two. Here is an Easter pic of them with a couple of my newphews. I dont upload attachments too much, so sorry if it's kind of small, but that's probably all the Huddle needs to see. Well, I guess it's not so small when you click it.

I could have uploaded bikini pics, but this place ain't ready for that.

You have a beautiful family. If I wasn't married I'd say the typical hey what's her number line, but then I'm quite partial to black women in general. :)

Any lawyer worth his salt that is representing a player will tell that player not to say anything to anybody, including his employer, during any pending legal matters. After, they'll say don't say anything because of potential civil suits after the criminal matter is over. Then, the NFL will suspend the player above and beyond the six game mandate because the player wasn't honest and forthright in the NFL investigation.

I sure love me some Panthers but I wouldn't be mad if the NFL got knocked down a few pegs to be honest.

#3331744 Titans complete OT switcheroo with Panthers, sign Byron Bell

Posted by Montsta on 23 April 2015 - 11:16 AM

Panthers fans don't watch Titans scrub offensive linemen.

Titans fans don't watch Panthers scrub offensive linemen.

So it's kind of funny to me that either group could say definitively that their guy is worse. Fans are hyperbolic by nature and always think their guy is the best, worst, (whatever supports their argument here), etc.

#3331735 Greg Hardy suspended 10 games

Posted by Montsta on 23 April 2015 - 11:10 AM

I understand perfectly.

I understand you have a boogey-man that lives under your bed named Roger Goodell. And that you think that he behaves differently than other CEOs of major corporations in his actions defending the public image of the corporation he runs (p.s. he doesn't).

Again, I don't know what you are debating with me here. I think the suspension is excessive, but I understand it based off the NFL needing to save face. You and I are in complete agreement on that and that isn't what I'm debating.

I'm saying it is shameless that the NFL tries to save face by acting like they actually care about domestic violence or women, and then turn around and make sure that Hardy's first game back from his suspension is a nationally televised game against his former team because it makes it more profitable.

So the very issue you admittedly say they are trying to protect their image from (domestic violence) is the issue they are exploiting because it will make them money.

That's what I have a problem with and that's what you have failed to address in every response you've made to this.

#3331691 Thomas Davis to announce our 1st round pick

I'd much rather get drafted by the Panthers and get to bro-hug Thomas Davis than crooked ass punk bitch Roger Goodell.

#3331686 Thomas Davis to announce our 1st round pick

Thomas Davis seems to think he has several years left playing, so if it is Shaq Thompson as a replacement it would seem like a wasted pick.

Good opportunity to change the pick if it's a player we shouldn't be picking,

"With the 25th pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the Carolina Panthers select, Jaelon St...Dorial Green Beckham, WR Mizzou!"
