#3302018 Jarrett Boykin signed to 1 year deal

Upgrade the roster from the bottom up, no risk signing, if he can get back to 2013 production it'll be a great signing

#3301887 Alan Ball signs with Bears

Now we can focus on Jennings

Ray Drew would be great with one of those 5ths, would be better as a true 4-3 end than in Georgia's hybrid scheme

If Gregory falls to 25 I think G-man pulls the trigger no hesitation

#3297806 Dave Newton.... Mr Breaking News. Probably might

#3297581 Gettleman: Panthers will exercise 5th year option on Luke

Who said that?

The G-man
@DNewtonespn: #Panthers GM says team still has WR Greg Jennings and CB Alan Ball in play.

He also said greg Jennings and alan ball are still in play, so there's that

#3296608 Panthers interested in Landon Collins

Posted by Kuech the Sneak on 23 March 2015 - 09:16 PM

According to NFL.com the Carolina Panthers are working out safety Landon Collins on Tuesday.

"Alabama safety Landon Collins, the top safety prospect in the 2015 NFL Draft, will perform for the Carolina Panthers in a private workout Tuesday. One of three Alabama underclassmen to enter the draft, Collins told al.com of his scheduled workout with Carolina, which holds the No. 25 overall pick of the draft."

Collins fits perfectly what Ron Rivera and Dave Gettleman love in a strong safety, mainly run stopping ability.

I had the Panthers selecting Collins in my first mock draft. However, due to the many wide receiver free agent moves this offseason, I no longer believe the draft's best safety makes it to pick 25.

#3296587 Panthers get a 5th and 6th comp.

Man I'm so excited for the draft, especially if we can sign Jennings and ball beforehand

#3296317 Panthers Predraft Visits/Meetings and What We Can Foolishly Read From Them

Posted by Kuech the Sneak on 23 March 2015 - 06:04 PM

Ok, so we definitely had Kelvin, Kony and Kawann in for visits/workouts prior to the draft. I couldn't find anything definitive on Star but I did see a pre draft report that the Panthers were showing significant interest in him. His medical issue could have complicated that process before the draft and the reporting on who we had in is kind of spotty. So it may be that we can narrow down our early picks to guys we've had in for visits or are otherwise showing a lot of interest in.

We were one of only two teams to work out star, us and the eagles

Tre Boston is trying to recruit him on Twitter.

Saw that, it seems like other teams only have mild interest in him. Hope they can get this done this week

#3295748 Ray Drew DE/DT UGA

Posted by Kuech the Sneak on 23 March 2015 - 01:22 PM

One of the guys I want mid-late rounds. Would be even better once he's a pure 4-3 end IMO

Whoops

His plan was to go home and visit other teams then weigh his options from there. So, yeah

@GregJennings: Not sure why, but for some reason I have a desire to listen to "Good Charlotte" today! Hmm...

Interesting
