#2742309 What do you want in 1st?

Posted by Kuech the Sneak on Yesterday, 02:04 PM

Shouldn't this be titled "what do you want in the 1st?" Since there's no specific players?

#2740257 Telvin Smith visited today

Posted by Kuech the Sneak on 15 April 2014 - 05:28 PM

@TelvinSmith_22: I can't even lie...this Carolina visit was real! Great coaches & staff! Just an all around good program..Will I be a Panther?🙊 #DraftLife

Would be a perfect heir apparent to TD

Edit: he's an LB from Florida state if some people didnt already know

#2739809 Proehl at LSU today

Posted by Kuech the Sneak on 15 April 2014 - 09:00 AM

@RickyProehl: Cold day in Baton Rouge. Tiger Stadium http://t.co/uOEfuGSOwQ

Looking at OBJ and landry obviously, have a better shot to get landry in the second

#2739002 Does arm length (OT) really matter?

Posted by Kuech the Sneak on 14 April 2014 - 01:39 PM

Im with fox if the guy can play it doesn't fuging matter.

Look at the guys matchups through his college career and see what he did against different types of rushers.

Shutdown all Americans, hed be a great pick at 28

#2737588 Panthers working out DE/OLB Scott Crichton

Posted by Kuech the Sneak on 12 April 2014 - 04:30 PM

Hmmm...

I don't see DG as a fan of tweeners, wonder what the plan would be for him?

CBS has him as a 2nd rounder.

I don't see him as a tweener, hes a 4-3 end. He's pretty much a clone of CJ in terms of play style and size

#2737421 Panthers meeting with...a center from USC

Posted by Kuech the Sneak on 12 April 2014 - 01:30 PM

I'm happy with it if he can play guard like people say, I want olineman this draft...

I lol'd

#2734857 Panthers sign Ed Dickson

Posted by Kuech the Sneak on 10 April 2014 - 03:32 PM

Best option outside of Olsen since shockey

#2733334 Ed Dickson visiting the Panthers

Posted by Kuech the Sneak on 09 April 2014 - 06:32 PM

He's big and has 4.5 speed so as long as he can hold onto the ball he could pose a threat.

He also is more of a YAC threat than Olsen, who usually falls right down as soon as a defender throws his pinky at him.

Yeah I love Olsen but damn he goes down easy

#2731664 DeCoud leaves without a contract

Voth said it was likely, so take that for what it is

#2729293 Jason Avant Visiting Panthers Monday

Posted by Kuech the Sneak on 06 April 2014 - 08:28 PM

This is one I've wanted to happen, but damn if we sign him and draft another receiver were gonna have a major logjam at the position

#2728092 Marqise Lee Visiting Panthers

Posted by Kuech the Sneak on 05 April 2014 - 02:03 PM

I'll take anybody who possesses soft hands, can run a route tree, and fend off strong DBs.

Jarvis landry?

#2726184 Spend Late Round Pick on Seantrel Henderson?

Posted by Kuech the Sneak on 03 April 2014 - 05:06 PM

If its a 5th or a 6th then why not, not really a huge investment anyways

#2723801 Panthers workout DE Kony Ealy, and Proehl is @USC today

Posted by Kuech the Sneak on 01 April 2014 - 03:50 PM

I like ealy alot, I wouldn't hate the pick but we have too many urgent needs to use a first on a position were stacked at

#2722240 Cotchery as #1 WR or Bell at starting LT or rookies starting at both positions

Posted by Kuech the Sneak on 31 March 2014 - 12:34 PM

I think we will count on Olsen and a highly drafted TE to help with the receiving and running game. This will make our tackles better by default and they chip DEs. I think Bell will be on the left side but with Amini there it won't be as awful as people think. Chandler will be the right tackle and Williams/Kugbila will be the RG. I think this line will be okay not good. I don't know who will be in the slot or out wide since we don't know who will make the opening day roster at this point.

I've been thinking about drafting a TE in the first couple rounds like ASJ or Amaro, help with the run and pass game. Plus we've gone to a short efficient pass game, cams gotten better in the short game
