#3297388 The Great Pie Debate - Offseason 2015 Edition

Posted by ThPantherFan on 24 March 2015 - 12:37 PM

Now that depends on the pie.  An apple, peach or cherry pie needs a heavy crust.  I will give that 80 to 90% crust.  Now a chess pie should have a delicate crust.  Those crusts can be made of any cookie type dough in my opinion.  I like a graham cracker or vanilla crust with a lemon chess pie.  Those would be 30 to 40%.  Now you also have to group pot pies into this discussion as well because it was not limited to desert pie.   The question was pie crust so to include the vegetable pot pie you would need a crust around 50 to 60%.  Meat pie would definitely be 100%.  A vegetable and meat pie would fall somewhere in between.  Now I'm hungry.  Damn you Jeremy!

#3294389 Greg Jennings AKA the guy that got Antoine Cason released

If we don't have enough cap space to sing him as a WR maybe we can hire him to coach DBs.

What key is that song sung in?  Just messin' with you.

Antoine Cason was released from the Panthers (along with Jason Williams) the Tuesday after the Panthers-Vikings game.

I suspect this play by  WR Greg Jennings (now in talks with the Panthers) may have had something to do with it.

I apologize in advance for the quality of the video.

Stick to photographs 'cause you suck at video.  Ha!

Cant trade comp picks.

I think he said trade our pick because we would still have a comp.

Okay people, I'm pi'd out.  Got to get up early so I'm gulping down a cold one and hitting the bed.  This has been a great pi day and thanks to all that pi'd me.  I tried to hit everyone that posted in this thread and some other too.  Good night, sleep tight, and thanks to all the huddlers who care.

I tried to give Black Widow and Monkey Butt pie but they wouldn't answer.  Go figure.  I miss Monkey Butt.

So, do I just leave a post like this and then pie magically appears?

No.  You must be selected by the most powerful Zod.  If you are selected by his esteem being, then you will be pi'd.

#3281988 Panthers In No Hurry

Posted by ThPantherFan on 13 March 2015 - 09:41 AM

Yep, time to cut everyone and sign all the big names in March!  That's when we win!  In March!  Yeah...

Keep in mind, that same team was within one play of beating the Pats.  An arrogant, stupid play call.

What other FAs would you bring in and/or trade for to improve the secondary?  Would their deals have fit into our plans versus what we'd have to give up to get them?

Gettleman has done well since he got here, and the team isn't perfect.  He's got a plan, he's deliberate, and he's going to make sure we keep our two foundation players here:  Cam and Luke.  They will set the tone for the team, lead the team.  Looking at the past few years of FA spending (since the lockout), there have been a lot more misses than hits.

I'll gladly play the slow game and grow our talent instead of going all Saints or Eagles this offseason.

A good post.  I hate that rabbit jumping up and down.  Makes me want to go rabbit hunting.  Ha!

I agree totaly.  I do think Gettleman has an eye for all around talent and he knows that our weak link is special teams.  I'm going to set back and enjoy the ride.  Very good post top dawg.
