UCONN @ #18 ECU Thursday night game ESPNU

22 October 2014 - 10:14 PM

1-5 UCONN at 5-1 ECU 7pm on 10/23 on ESPNU

So this doesn't appear to be a very even match up on paper. With a win ECU becomes bowl eligible. Regardless of their final record some bowl will be salivating to get them with their high powered offense. The current line is ECU -27.5 and an over/under at 54.5. I could be way off but I see ECU taking care of the over/under themselves. They have been bottled up recently and it is time for the cannons to go off!

Not to send the ECU haters and Shane Carden doubters into total freak out mode as happened in a thread earlier in the season but Carden is creeping up peoples lists for Hesiman candidates. This does not mean he will win or that I think he will win. It means he is on peoples lists, including the official Heisman list, and deservedly so.

Go Pirates!

#19 ECU @ USF...HOMECOMING...whoops

08 October 2014 - 07:46 AM

Don't you usually want to win homecoming? Not sure what USF was thinking here regardless of when this game was scheduled. How many TD's will Heisman Hopeful Carden account for? My money is 6 total. Carden is likely to pass for 4 in the first half. I expect at least 1 rushing td.

Saturday October 11 @ 7:00pm on ESPNU

ECU total offense is ranked #4 nationally

QB comparison hrough 5 games...

ECU: Carden 1,879 yards/15 td's/3 int

USF: White 561 yards/2 td's/3 int

This should be interesting...

Great interview!

Yep.....it's happening....PURPLE....GOLD!.....PURPLE.....GOLD!!!

ECU ranked 2nd in ACC

22 September 2014 - 09:36 PM

No that title is not a typo....Yep...finally some respect for ECU. Link below. I also appreciate the writer calling out the lousy additions to the ACC over ECU. I know the ACC will never let ECU in. The other NC schools have nothing to gain and would only lose even more to ECU. We have gotten the short end of the stick in the conference shake down. But we will still kick almost any team in the ACC's @ss.
