About Me

First and foremost, I absolutely harbor a generous amount of disdain for the Falcons. I find that little twit, Matt Ryan, grating. I have softened considerably on my dislike of the Cowboys and especially their fans, but I will never forgive Jerry Jones for unceremoniously dumping Tom Landry.

I was a Steelers fan before becoming a Panthers fanatic, and even lived in Pittsburgh for a stint. I catch NFL games whenever I can, and have followed the Panthers before they ever got on the field. Though a native North Carolinian, I wasn't raised here except for a few summers. I have lived in several cities throughout the Midwest and Northeast. Other than the Triangle, Greensboro as a toddler, and Athens as a  collegian, Atlanta was the only other place that I've lived in the South.

I write on racial issues, though at the moment my website is having some issues being that I was slack updating my contact information, My domain was basically hijacked by Moniker, but I will get it back up, even if I have to do so under another name. Currently, you can still visit blackpoems.net and howtosayiloveyou.net. I dream of the day when we can judge people by the "content of their character" as Dr. Martin Luther King envisioned. Other than writing, I work my penny ante job, watch sports, play video games, listen to many kinds of music, and enjoy the family life.

I certainly bleed my Panther blue, and have followed the team so long, that I'm beginning to feel like history as opposed to remembering history. That being said, I follow the Panthers very closely and am truly a Panthers fanatic in the best sense of the word.

In addition to following the Panthers and the NFL, I also write poems and essays regarding different aspects of race relations in America, and sometimes the world. You can see some of my poetry at blackpoems.net, and I will be launching racerelations.net in the near future, as well as a forum, blackopinions.net, that will be launched a little later. Yes, I know that dealing with racial issues can seem somewhat taboo at times, but my goal is to provide forums where people can at least open up a dialogue and discuss racial issues forthrightly, but respectfully. It is my dream that people will get to a point where, like Dr. martin Luther King expressed, people will be judged by their character and not skin color. Moreover, I have been known to write reviews and opinions on different aspects of the wireless industry, and other issues that affect consumers.

Lastly, I am a family man who works a penny ante job, enjoys sports and very few TV shows, and plays video games. I am in some ways the quintessential "starving artist", who somewhat revels in being a rebel and Bohemian lifestyle, just waiting to at least earn a modicum of independence from the rat race from writing and other endeavors.

I am a writer and poet. I write about some tough issues at www.racerelations.ws, and I also showcase poetry at www.blackpoems.ws. I also have a site at howtosayiloveyou.net, which will tell you how to say "I love you" in different languages.

Yes, I am opinionated, but I'm a guy who tries to respect and love all people, even Cowboys fans. :)
