#3224668 My daughter is having a Feb. 12th "friendship day" celebration at school

I used to give necklaces and candy to multiple bitches every year. Gotta plant a lot of seeds to harvest a crop. This is some bullshit.

#3223652 So long, Suliamon.

K doesn't do a lot of the visits now. I don't know if assistants are promising kids things that can't deliver on. Hopefully the reason for dismissing him is valid. However if it's because he has a poor attitude that's lingered I have problems with that. It should have been handled much earlier before getting out of control.

Not big on this. I don't know all the issues but it was never bad enough that he was suspended as far as I know. Now you just straight kick him off the team. If it's been such a problem k should have acted with a suspension much sooner instead of just decreasing playing time. Handled pretty poorly imo

#3222840 Post Your Best Interview Advice/Tips

Posted by toldozer on 28 January 2015 - 08:20 PM

The position still has not been filled and last night I spoke with my contact in HR. She told me that I am their guy and that she wishes she could give me an offer right now but the position still needs to be approved. The delay has nothing to do with other candidates but rather logistics. I interviewed December, 3rd. She told me that her gut feeling is that it will be formally approved and the necessary people will sign-off on officially creating the position but that there is a still a chance it does not happen for whatever reason. I guess my question to some of you is, is this sort of thing normal? By that I mean, for a company to interview a candidate without the position actually in place or formally created ahead of time? Do you think it is a department head that needs to sign off on the position being filled? I'd assume this is the case as he would likely be in charge of budgeting and things of that nature.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I'd say no. Why put the effort into interviews and everything without having the position available for sure. Makes no sense to me.

Like dexterity said if you're doing floating it isn't hard. The only tough part is cutting for corners. If you've got a buddy good with measurements and a saw that's all you need. Buy him a steak or some beers while you work and that should be enough

Engineered or real hardwood will add value to your home though. May make the difference in your house from the one down the street. If you can afford it I'd go with the nicer option unless you can get a good deal and install yourself with someone's help. Install on any option that's not nail down will probably be about the same

I did my living room/dining room with laminate planks for 300 bucks. I searched craigslist till I found something decent and bought it. Came with the moisture barrier too. I will see if I can find the pictures. It looks good and looks amazing for 300.00 bucks. My brother and I ( mostly him) did the install.

Lumber liquidators was around 1300 for laminate and about 3k for engineered hardwood and I don't think that included the moisture barrier. Honestly mine looked good as new once installed and cleaned.

Don't bring any facts into his argument

#3219819 What QB gets the most help from his team?

Posted by toldozer on 25 January 2015 - 04:58 PM

Our defense was pretty damn good last year. It got us to 12-4 but we still got bounced out of the playoffs. They have a really good defense but he finds a way to make plays. ALL THE TIME. I'll give the guy credit. Still wouldn't trade cam for him

Here's my question why can't they work it out so it's a road game for both teams. Seems like they could figure that out as long as it isn't a divisional matchup

Sled has a sticker saying it weighs 118 lbs. Eleven 45 lb plates on each side

I don't get the guys that load the sled up for a 3" range of motion. Not saying you but that annoys me. When I do leg press I bring my knees even with my chest let three momentum stop then push up to just before a straight leg

I looked into getting a fitbit, but they're just too expensive for their actual capabilities imo.
