#3303534 Panthers claim OT Jonathan Martin

Posted by Frank Hollywood on Yesterday, 12:14 PM

I don't mind this.

Too many people are saying he isn't good.
He doesn't have to be good, he has to be better than the worst tackle on the roster. If he is, great, you improved your depth. If he isn't, he has zero guaranteed money and you've lost nothing.

#3298851 Panthers now have two 5th round comp picks, not 5th and 6th

Posted by Frank Hollywood on 25 March 2015 - 03:14 PM

Basically a late 5th, and 2 early 6th rounders, but bring it on!

No....it's three 5th rounders. Why do people always say this? Are early 6th round picks basically late 5th rounders?

#3294409 Panthers talk to Greg Jennings

I thought this offseason would put to rest the argument that running backs are "a dime a dozen". Murray, Lynch, McCoy....they all got paid. Elite RB's can be game changers and Gurley has that potential.

If we somehow sign him and pick up a receiver in the first and one in the mid rounds such as Jaelen Strong and Justin Hardy I would feel great about our receiver situation.

#3292946 Russel Wilson Contract News

I would love for cam to get a 4 year, 60 million dollar contract fully guaranteed. I doubt it will happen though.

#3286872 Kurt Coleman Info

This guy blows.

I don't understand. Dude got hit and still made the tackle. What did I miss?

#3286556 The Golden Calf of Bristol working out for the Eagles today

He's an athlete, just not at QB.

#3285240 Cam is going to get paid

Posted by Frank Hollywood on 15 March 2015 - 11:25 AM

Yeah Cam is not a 20mil a year caliber QB. Yet.

The market sets the price. He will get somewhere between 18-22 mil a year due to similar contracts and the rising cap.

#3284192 Person: some FAs Getty might add

Posted by Frank Hollywood on 14 March 2015 - 01:12 PM

if the team had their way you wouldnt know who was on the roster until player intros come September

a pretty outdated approach in a league that is working hard to become a year long event and as teams work to keep their fanbases engaged more than ever before.

That's so weird you have a negative opinion on this topic of our team. I mean, it could have gone either way.

#3284169 Pick 1 WR

Posted by Frank Hollywood on 14 March 2015 - 01:01 PM

Strong and DGB both have the talent. I like DGB better talent wise but I doubt Panthers make that move.

I also like Maxx Williams as well. I think he's going to be a top 5 TE before long.

#3284103 Cam is going to get paid

Posted by Frank Hollywood on 14 March 2015 - 12:34 PM

This. Im sorry, Cam is good but im still not comfortable with saying hes 140 plus million good. Hes similiar to Jay Cutler in a lot of respects and looked what happened to him.. He got benched for Jimmy Clausen.. Jimmy Fuggin Clausen for god sakes.

That's the first cam to cutler comparison I've heard and for good reason.

He reminds me more of Big Ben than anyone else currently in the league.

#3284073 Compensatory picks and the long game

Posted by Frank Hollywood on 14 March 2015 - 12:17 PM

Get outta here with your optimism. That's not allowed here.

#3284008 Cam is going to get paid

Posted by Frank Hollywood on 14 March 2015 - 11:44 AM

It won't be by the Panthers

What sort of wager can we make?
You talk all this trash about spending are you willing to back it up or will you just ignore this post? Control over sigs for one NFL season.

#3283767 Could Melvin White make the transition to Safety?

Posted by Frank Hollywood on 14 March 2015 - 08:59 AM

This is me stating a opinion on a different subject. ..so.....

No one claimed you never spoke of different subjects. The claim is that you regurgitate the same worn out complaint every time a transaction is made in free agency. Now back on topic because discussing it further is getting us nowheRe.

You think they would have tried it already with our need at safety. Rivera and putting the best player on the field though.....
