Congrats to the greatest player that we've seen since Jordan.

#2030094 Game #16 Bobcats vs Trail Blazers

Posted by ZB1224 on 03 December 2012 - 08:43 PM

Kemba started the season finishing well at the rim. He was shooting 60% at the rim, then 57%, then 54%, and now is down to 51% and dropping. 51% is passable for a starting PG, but only average really. Hopefully he can get that percentage back up. Developing a floater would help a LOT! Right now he is either going to pull-up for a mid range jumper or throw a wild layup off the glass. If he developed a reliable floater then that would help his percentages so much.

Not sure if Panthers offensive line sucks or if DeAngelo sucks.

#2017002 Myck Kabongo PG, 2013 NBA DRAFT

Posted by ZB1224 on 26 November 2012 - 10:08 PM

1. I really don't see your fascination with drafting a "pass first" PG. Name the last pass first PG to win an NBA title besides Jason Kidd (although he was nothing more than a role player at that time).

2. I really don't see your fascination with Myck Kabongo. He's really not that good.

#2014235 RIP Nikola Pekovic

I think that Barnes will be the 2nd best scorer from the 2012 draft class, but not the 1st or 2nd best overall player. Lillard, Davis, MKG, and maybe Drummond will all be better imo.

Still gotta give up it to my man HB40 though.

Kemba is having one of the best seasons in the NBA and you want to trade him?

#2012208 Bismack Biyombo Appreciation Thread

Posted by ZB1224 on 22 November 2012 - 02:33 PM

Bismack has been disappointing to me this year, but I, along with many other fans probably expected a little too much out of him. I really doubt that he ever becomes much of an offensive threat, but if he can improve his fundamentals, rebounding, defense, and awareness of where to be on the court at all times -- well, I see no reason why he can't be a Tyson Chandler like player.

#2012207 Mike Dunlap Appreciation thread

When we first hired Coach Dunlap, I wasn't sure that I'd ever say this, but he was the right guy and I am VERY thankful that Cho and co. did they homework. You know that they REALLY did their homework to hire such an unknown guy... an assistant at an average college basketball program. Kudos to the front office.

He absolutely needs to be fired immediately after this game.

It think it's fair to say it's combination of both of them. They're all inept.

I will admit that Cam has been very disappointing this season. I am a little worried about him, because while the playcalling and coaches on the team have been horrible, I've seen some awful things from Cam this year that's all on him. However, with saying all of that... I will not give up on Cam. I still believe in his ability, heart, and desire to be a great NFL QB.

#2004143 Bobcats draft needs

Posted by ZB1224 on 18 November 2012 - 01:46 PM

I have to kinda agree.
We need a pure shooter. Someone that Everytimes he shoot the ball the we're not going to cross fingers that he'll make it. Shabazz can or may be that legit shooter we need.

I just hope to he can be cleared to play sometimes thiis season. Anyone knows if he have or when he'll be able to play.

Yeah, that's really the main reason that I want Shabazz. He is very athletic, has great size for a SG, is a solid shooter, can score in the post, and should be a very good defender at the next level (already is pretty good at the college level). I really do think that Kemba can be a #2 option on a good team. He makes really good decisions with the ball and is aggressive, but not a chucker like Westbrook can be. Kemba also has that Mamba gene where he likes to close games out and really rises to the occasion in clutch moments. The main thing about Shabazz is that he is an aggressive scorer and athletic enough to attack the basket in the NBA. He isn't a great shooter right now, but he will improve on that. I really feel that he has the mix of athletic ability and skills to be a dominant player in the NBA. He has superstar potential imo.

Dat Panthers offensive line. Killing drives, giving up sacks, and giving the RB's no room to run.

Oh wait, I'm not doing it right.

Fuggin Cam Newton man...

I'm praying Phil comes back. I dont want any excuses when you guys come up short this year.
