#3262946 Would Jake Long Be A Good Enough LT Bridge?

Posted by Jmac on 04 March 2015 - 05:07 PM

I propose actually signing players that can see the field once in a while and not spend the season in rehab.

#3262879 Let the Aints purge brgin

Per Ian Rapoport. RB P.Thomas released. The Saints will have to take it on the chin for all the free spendIng. Interesting to see if Brees will restructure to help the team. Karma can be a bitch.....how the mighty have fallen.

And before the ass ripping starts for the heading typo, Mod please correct.

#3252254 D Will says Panthers didn't reach out to him when his mother died

More to this then what appears on the surface. Two sides to every story and there is a reason why D.G and R.R didn't go. Who knows what has been going on between the club and Williams and what was going on in the locker room. Regardless, don't burn bridges

#3242095 Ill tell you something about Greg Hardy

Valentines day and love is in the air.

#3240685 Ticket prices rise 2nd year in row

Posted by Jmac on 13 February 2015 - 11:24 AM

Per all three beat writers at C.O. Two thirds increasing between two and five bucks per ticket. Not a real big hit as long as they continue to progress. Keep improving the product and the bitching wont't be very loud. Regress and take the back lash.

Forty minutes away from Hendersonville on I-26....what's not to love.

#3234701 Report: Panthers Not Expected To Bring Back Hardy

Posted by Jmac on 08 February 2015 - 02:04 PM

They where not going to resign him after this year. They couldn't get him to sign for what they could afford and tagged him.
He was to be a one year rental while they made plans to move on (a.k.a Kony Ealy). Why some refuse to understand this concept is baffling.
Regardless of his bonehead antics, they can't drop the kind of money he wants. Uness you would rather play scrubs at key positions of need. Ask the Lions....Suh probably walking also.

#3229703 4 Things Greg Hardy Must Do to Remain a Panther

I think many of those blowouts where due to the coaching staff insisting on playing guys that sucked while the younger guys where either hurt or sitting on the bench. As soon as they inserted new blood into the secondary and oline, the improvement was obvious.

#3223073 Superbowl over hyped to the point of nauseum

Posted by Jmac on 29 January 2015 - 07:32 AM

It is actually to the point where I could care less about the damn thing anymore. They really need to scale the whole thing back and keep it in perspective. I know the NFL is all about the dollar, but there comes a point of over saturation. Even die hard fans of the two teams must be sick and tired of all the hoopla.
When the Panthers get in, I will not be watching any of this bullshat that they fill these two weeks with. Just do one week to get your revenue and play the damn game.

#3221877 Ramsdell retiring

Posted by Jmac on 27 January 2015 - 06:40 PM

Hard to get overly excited about next season without any major changes happening with this coaching staff. Rivera got his way and kept all his guys, regardless of their lack of production. I wonder if Ramsdell just got fed up with his lack of influence and just said 'F' it.

Don't 'F' with the godfather and bend to kiss the ring. Thank you "padrino" for telling it like it is.

#3206128 Ravens tell Smith to take a little time out

D.G knew exactly what he was doing. I would think he has no regrets about what he did.

#3203445 Trepidation about what we will see in 2015

Posted by Jmac on 13 January 2015 - 04:12 PM

All around the league franchises are shaking things up. If something isn't working, it needs to be changed. In fact, change is the precursor to curing many ills. This coach refuses to adjust and will sit status quo. One of the worst special teams units for years running and a limp offense that doesn't get the job done when needed. I'm sure DG will sign some FA help and do well in the draft again. Parts of this coaching staff needed to go and it will not be happening. I don't know if some new players can cure the stagnation that has seemed to set into parts of this team. Hard to be overly optimistic when nothing is improved upon as far as the coaching staff goes.

#3202772 RR: OC Shula did a good job at end of the season

Posted by Jmac on 13 January 2015 - 11:27 AM

Being mediocre at your job passes the acid test in Rivera's opinion....OC is less then mediocre
