also note that QBs quarterbacks have a 93.9 passer rating when they target Sherman this year (last season, Sherman held opposing quarterbacks to a league-low 47.3 rating on passes to receivers he was covering)
a big part of that is that Sherman doesn't have the benefit of the great pass rush SEA had last year, as SEA lost half their sack leaders in the offseason
Last year, SEA was 8th-best in the NFL with 44 sacks (2.8 per game).
This year, SEA is 3rd-WORST in the NFL with only 7 sacks (1.17 per game)
Last year, the Seahawks sacked or put opposing quarterbacks under duress on 31 percent of dropbacks, best in the NFL.
This year, not so much
SEA's whole secondary has suffered as a result: they are 5th-WORST in the NFL in pass efficiency D with a whooping 103.9 QB rating allowed
But they are facing a poor O-line tomorrow. Ours.
But, I'd love to be wrong and we play great.
