#2522118 Can I get a game recap?

Posted by DeuceBoogie on 01 December 2013 - 06:26 PM

Highlight reels probably wont tell you that:

AJ Klein had another great game.

Tolbert was very productive running and catching.

Barner got some reps and didn't impress, though mostly due to poor run blocking. (J Stew was having trouble as well)

Horton made some big plays.

Hixon had an awesome block.

Hope that gives you what you were looking for.

#2398503 Deangelo Williams speaks his mind re: Chud

Now on Tuesday, Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams was the latest to join the Trash Chud Party.Williams took a shot at his former coach, saying that he failed to establish the run game enough when he was in Carolina — and apparently still does — after Williams has looked strong under new coordinator David Shula.

#2245551 So I ran into Captain Munnerlyn's girlfriend at the park today.

Cool Story Bro.

No seriously, it was cool. I didn't know any huddlers were from around this area (I'm in Baldwin County). I totally would be stoked to run into someone close to the team, hell I get excited just seeing someone wearing panthers gear and usually have to say something to him/her. Now if only we could run all these Saints fans back to Louisiana, life would be good.

#2136422 Does Anybody Think Cam Getting His Degree At Auburn Is A Distraction?

It doesn't look like a distraction to me.

#1846751 OT Lee Ziemba with possible torn ACL

Hate to hear that. He was really reliable at Auburn. I've been pulling for him to make the next step.

The defense will triple the number of turnovers forced last season.

The offseason that won't quit
What more could one want

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and attempt a limerick instead of a haiku.

There once was a douche from the south
With a mole and a mighty big mouth
that whined and cried
and often denied
What was proven beyond reasonable doubt

#1792147 Just curious. Have some balls & tell the truth. Cam Bandwagoner, Panthers...

Posted by DeuceBoogie on 04 June 2012 - 12:44 PM

I'm a long time Auburn fan that became a Panthers fan because of Cam. I'm not afraid to admit it. I have never had any allegiance to any NFL team. I live in south Alabama (near Mobile) where everyone is a Saints** fan with a few Falcons guys here and there. I've always disliked the Saints** and the dirty ass city they call home. I didn't really get into NFL when I was younger but I started watching during the 2009 postseason and now it's a full blown hobby. I tried to pick a favorite team during the beginning of the 2010 season, but that's actually a pretty hard thing to do when you didn't grow up loving a particular team.

So about halfway into the season I was just like "Fug it. I'll just see where Cam ends up and that will be my team." And I've since fallen in love with everything about this team. I followed every game last year even though, only about 4 games were televised in my area (Saints** x2, @ Falcons and Titans). I even got to see them at the Superdome on Week 17. I've been lurking on the huddle since the postseason and this thread finally got me to post, so thanks to the OP for giving me a chance to put in my two cents.

Oh, and there's no doubt that I will continue to support this Carolina team from here on out, with or without the guy that helped bring my Auburn TIgers their first NC in over 50 years.
