Maaaaan fug em' the media and protesters will never be happy. The media just wants a controversy to create article hits for their declining profession.

#2945417 Donkey Kong Suh

Yes, but there was a lot worse. Stephen A., Skip Bayless, and Jay Feely's irrelevant fuging ass decided to call Cam immature again, saying nothing has changed really.

Sooooo the guy that got suspended from his job for expressing his dumb one-sided opinion on The Ray Rice fiasco on national television called someone else immature.

Go figure.

#2944985 Your prediction of how the NFCS will finish

Posted by Beast_3000 on 12 September 2014 - 06:49 AM

1 CAR
2 NO
3 ATL
4 TB

Trying to take off my fandom glasses off, but I see CAR winning it again.

Thoughts?

I hope New Orleans finishes at least third in the division. I get tired of their fans bragging and the media giving them all the hype.

Having said that I think it is way to early to have a clue on how the division will finish. We haven't had a large enough sample size.

#2944670 Ex-Panther vs Ex-Panther

Smitty can obviously still play. I think Gettleman knew he was drafting a WR early and simply didn't want Smitty around the young guy. A lot of the things we love about Smitty are also things you don't necessarily want rubbing off on a young guy. Smitty is mad about the release but it is what it is. It lit a fire under his ass again and the Ravens get to benefit.

#2937075 Chance to scout Detroit Tomorrow

Posted by Beast_3000 on 08 September 2014 - 12:59 PM

I'm ready to see Cam back at the helm, but something has me uneasy about being on the field with Suh who is a likely candidate to exploit an injury.

Yeah the one thing I like about DA is he gets rid of the football. I hope Cam picks up that valuable trait from him. If Cam is going to hold it for extended periods he has to roll out more. Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson are good at creating additional time.

#2936981 Luke happy... but not satisfied

Posted by Beast_3000 on 08 September 2014 - 12:29 PM

He's like a buffed out Greg Maddux

Great analogy. Maddux was one of the top 3 pitchers of his generation because he was smarter than others. People try to say Kueckly is a very instinctive football player.

I agree he is instinctive, but this guy is really really smart. It isn't just instinct. He completely understands what play is about to happen on most plays before anyone else does.

#2936116 Leave godfrey in fuging Tampa Bay

Posted by Beast_3000 on 08 September 2014 - 05:32 AM

Are we going to bash Thomas Davis too? He gave up the second touchdown. He also missed a tackle and let McClown scramble for almost 20 yards.

Give it a rest guys. We could pointi fingers at several players. Godfrey is not the scapegoat.

#2935486 Kelvins TD

Yeah KB is going to be really good. I was also impressed with Cotchery's strength. It was just one game but I think we are gonna be alright.

#2928625 Bowers, Gholston, and other Bucs ruled out

Posted by Beast_3000 on 06 September 2014 - 03:28 AM

Lynch got me 24 last night. I benched Zac Stacy to play Stewart, with Vereen as my W/R. And Darren Sproles is on the bench.

Zac Stacey started beasting when he got his opportunities last year. I hope you prove my fantasy knowledge wrong. If you do we will be smiling by 8PM Sunday evening.

#2919418 Caplan: Stephen Hill trying out for Panthers today

Posted by Beast_3000 on 01 September 2014 - 12:16 PM

Lafell could at least block. Still bad tho.

Hill is very good blocker too. That is a positive to his game coming from that option offense at Georgia Tech

#2916524 Final Panther cuts 8-30-2014

Posted by Beast_3000 on 30 August 2014 - 12:36 PM

Nicks said we made an offer. He said Colts was the best fit for him and said Gettleman agreed they were a better fit for him as well

I think he is going to regret chosing Indy over us. He is going to get buried on their receiving depth chart. He will be the 4th receiver by game 7, which equals no targets in that offense because Indy has two strong tight ends. He would have been at least the #2 receiver on the depth chart here. Well maybe the #3.

#2910485 Godfrey back to S? Per BBR

Posted by Beast_3000 on 26 August 2014 - 02:33 PM

agreed

I've liked Bene a lot, but Rivera's love for Godfrey has been hard to ignore... he's a guy that on most teams would have been cut this offseason... instead he was given a second chance, and now a third if the move to S is true

Yes but at safety he can play either position and he is probably better than any safety on our roster, outside of our starters. We don't see his leadership in the locker room. There may be a few variables like leadership that make him valuable beyond our measure.
