#3096037 Mike Mitchell Banned from Twitter by the Steelers

Posted by Beast_3000 on 18 November 2014 - 04:42 PM

It is his attempt to come back to the Carolinas. I would take him back in a minute on a friendly contract. We need that nasty hitter in the secondary. Pair him with Colin Jones and another solid corner to go with Norman and Bene!!!
We would quickly forget 2014

#3091696 What do you think of Rivera's habit of blaming individual players by name...

Posted by Beast_3000 on 16 November 2014 - 05:58 PM

Ron Rivera is the worst coach in the league: this is something we all agree on. The only person that doesn't agree on that is Ron Rivera. When it's press conference time he'll say things like "We expect Gano to make that" or "Cam had some tough throws in the first half" or "Secondary Player X was benched because he was playing poorly", but I don't think I've ever heard him admit to a coaching mistake he's personally made.

I think that's what irritates me about this guy more than anything else. Thoughts?

He is a coward. Thats what yellow bellies do.

#3085054 A little on Chris Scott

No it couldn't and I am happy they are making a change. He should help out the run game too. Now if they could just bench Harper and start Colin :)

#3084129 Panthers officials insist Cam Newton's MNF problems totally mental

Posted by Beast_3000 on 12 November 2014 - 01:48 PM

In one breath you admit "he does not have support around him", yet in another question why he can't "raise the players around him".

You literally make no sense, and also lose credibility when the only thing you can come up with is "well, those darn Cam apologists...."

Newton obviously needs to play better, but at this point, all of our players look to simply be going through the motions. You question where Newton's leadership is, but what about our other players? It is a team sport, and at this point it looks like the coaches have lost the players.

You made a lot of valid points.
I think leadership is overstated at times with Cam. He comes in early and he is known to stay late and work on his off days. He rallies the team and says the right things to the media. I have heard snippets of his game day speeches to the players. His game time rally speech could use a little work but when you look at anyone's body of work you will find something. It is knit picking because we are losing.

These are grown ass men making millions of dollars. They don't have to be hand held. They are supposed to be professionals that have been given the privilege to play in the league. Anyone blaming Cam is not holding the other 52 players accountable. . Pull the pacifier out and quit being dependent on another grown man to do your job

#3078970 We Cant Pay Cam $20 Mil

Posted by Beast_3000 on 10 November 2014 - 10:44 PM

Then who is?????????

Please answer this. You going to say some slow ass vets? Become a even more conservative team? I don't know one QB in the draft nor in FA that can make the throws Cam can... Run like Cam can...

You think anyone can survive this O line? Have you seen any WR get separation? Have you seen the routes? Bless.

I thought about responding to this thread but I realized I would start a debate with someone that probably doesn't understand football is a team sport that requires adequate coaching. Thank you for saving me some time.

If Godfrey was cut shouldn't Harper be cut? Harper is involved in every play where we are gouged.

#3075907 So this just happened on NBC

am I the only one who sees this

To dumb a response to respond. Kind of like saying Mexico is a better country than the U. S.

#3065575 Free Agency or Draft

Posted by Beast_3000 on 03 November 2014 - 01:55 AM

why would he resign here and why would we want him?

Don't get me wrong I get your question and why you question Ginn but we are missing a stretch the field type of guy and a solid punt returner.

#3063838 Doubt inside BofA Cam is the future?

Posted by Beast_3000 on 02 November 2014 - 11:54 AM

LMAO if we get rid of Cam. Wow I'm done here.

Cam with no offensive line and slow receivers is equivalent to Luke being behind defensive tackles being manhandled. It is a team game. Great players can't be great without talent around them.

I really get tired of idiots blaming Cam for our team problems. We sat around for three years watching our talent on the offensive side of the ball disappear. Our talent on offense was 5 times better in 2011. All of a sudden now it is Cams fault ?

If this franchise were to get rid of Cam they may as well trade Luke too. No way he would sign an extension with Carolina with talent disappearing on both sides of the ball. Cam is an elite talent that is not being developed wth talent around him.

I would be done too.

#3060578 A little love for Colin Jones

Posted by Beast_3000 on 31 October 2014 - 10:01 AM

I love it when Norman makes a big play and signals to the crowd to make some noise. I hope he keeps that as his signature move. Brees started picking on the other corners eventually. He realized it wasn't the best match up to pick on.

#3059590 Cam has never been this off before....

Posted by Beast_3000 on 30 October 2014 - 11:08 PM

We aint that far. I believe in the coaching staff besides Shula, we just dont have the horses. We need an Antonio Brown type receiver and some talented offensive lineman.

I agree. We really aren't that far off. If you get a solid left tackle in free agency it straightens out the entire line problem. Let Bell and Chandler fight it out on the right side and we have some decent guards that just need some more time to develop (except Amini).

As you mentioned give us a fast receiver like Antonio Brown to pair with KB.
We need a solid safety to pair with the serviceable Decoud and I bet we would be tough to beat next year.
I miss Hardy.

#3059047 Is Cam injured?

Posted by Beast_3000 on 30 October 2014 - 10:18 PM

Let me help you out since you can't seem to figure it out. You pointed out that Cam hit bersin in the hands and it was the WRs letting Cam down. I pointed out he was 5/15 with 4 drops to show the 6 overthrows he had to point out he was playing worse than the WRs. You are playing this what if game with his completion % for whatever reason because if I was I would be 11/15 which is 73% so yea it makes no sense for you to do that...so...yea....go back and re-read and try to keep up gus.

My point was never about his completion percentage and I'm not sure why you are trying to take away the 4 drops....if we do that we can take away his bad over throws which would help much more than a few drops....

Okay I feel you and I agree but if we are pinpointing Cams game we have to take account for the mistakes that the receiving core are making to see if he is the entire problem

I will squash it...lol I think we are both just frustrated by our team....

I know I am.

Guys we are only down by two touchdowns. If we can score here we are in this game. Brees is getting away with intentional grounding left and right in my opinion.

Norman is a beast

#3053786 Serious Question

Posted by Beast_3000 on 29 October 2014 - 07:08 PM

I have both, which do you think will be better? I'm torn. I think Olsen is gonna have a big game tomorrow because of how little he did in the Seahawks game.

Start Olsen not because I am a Homer but I have the feeling they are gonna light Graham up with that bum shoulder
