#3019915 Burfict make MNF!

But stated the Bengals coach, what's his name, laughed it off, "professional wrestling" .

Thomas Davis should have speared Marvin Lewis as if he was jumping off the top turnbuckle and got up and "laughed it off".

Burfict twisted Cam's ankle after the play. Bush league.

I just saw that on the replay. Then he had the audacity to smile about it. Those are the type of plays the league should fine for.

They need to design dome more stunts for Kawaan Short and Edwards. Pressure can be created to help the back end by confusing the offensive line with new schemes.

I would prefer a stud tackle but I would be ok with it if we found a solid offensive tackle via free agency this off season. Take a stud tackle and put him on Cams blindside. Due to our cap situation and upcoming Cam contract we should let the remaining tackles fight it out to handle the right side. I think our guards and center combination will continue to improve as the season continues. We could also find a potential contributing guard in the 4th.

As much as I love D Will he is going to be a cap casualty this offseason. Gurley could be a good addition if he is BPA but I prefer these picks early.
1) Offensive Line
2) Safety

Not necessarily in that order but I would hope they would get addressed in the first three rounds.

#3005635 AJ Green leaves practice on cart

Posted by Beast_3000 on 08 October 2014 - 12:55 PM

That sucks I'm pulling for him to be ready for our game. Don't like seeing any guys go down and would rather play them at full strength.

I usually feel that way but we are far from full strength.

No Hardy no running backs no full backs.
I hope he is okay but sitting him one game won't bother me a bit at this point :)

#3001553 Josh Norman/Melvin White

Norman played well.. bad pi call

I agree with you. Alshon pushed off to create separation. Norman got called trying to move Alshons arm off. It was a bad call.

I said it in another thread and I will say it again. He needs more snaps and he should be starting. Dude is ready to blow the fug up!

Kawaan Short is gonna be the man in about a year. He needs more snaps! Very disruptive and holds up against the run better than Edwards.

#2996147 Something minor but interesting to note (Receivers)

Posted by Beast_3000 on 03 October 2014 - 06:17 PM

My Luck hate doesn't have to do with Luck cause the man is damn good and getting better. It stems from the media's love affair with him and anointing him the best when his play suggested he isn't there yet.

You would think he went undefeated in college and won a national championship and the Heisman trophy.......

Very good post bro. You were honest and highlighted a number of things that we should be excited about.

We will also have to retool on the defensive tackle position next year. Cole and Edwards are starting to show their age.

#2979395 Luke alludes to the run gaps

Posted by Beast_3000 on 26 September 2014 - 05:15 PM

From what I think I read a few days ago, that was Luke's assigned gap and Harper was a free-roamer whose job it was to diagnose the play and pick which gap needed filling.

To Harpers defense Luke seemed to be in the gap up the middle and then he bit on the fake by Bell. Once he bit he got swallowed behind the block. When Harper saw Luke on the inside gap he committed to filling the gap on the left then Luke bit on the fake as I mentioned opening up the hole. I know we all love our middle linebacker but that play looked like Luke's fault to me.

Regardless they have to work those problems out.

#2953205 Seems we are in the national spotlight for the wrong reasons again

Maaaaan fug em' the media and protesters will never be happy. The media just wants a controversy to create article hits for their declining profession.
