#3087512 Bill Voth examines this past offseason's moves (and where they went wrong)

Posted by CBDellinger on 15 November 2014 - 12:11 AM

Really nothing here that we didn't already know. We'll see what happens after the season.

For me, what bothers me the most is that we lost the opportunity to get another quality receiver in a draft that was purported to be the deepest at wide receiver in years, and has actually turned out that way.

This article is not about the fact that we already know... It's that a lot of people either have forgotten or chosen to ignore how we got here.

There is not a conspiracy... There was a plan that failed and a large part of its failings were events that no one could have predicted nor anticipated based on the past.

#3086527 What's up with CJ?

His grandma is sick and in the hospital.

He poosted it on IG.

#3086454 Did Cam call players meeting?

Posted by CBDellinger on 14 November 2014 - 11:11 AM

Meh, they called one last year before going on the 8 game winning streak.

These meetings are way overblown. I don think they make much of a difference other than allowing players to vent a little amongst themselves.

#3082255 What traits do you want in the next Carolina Panthers owner....

A guy that want to win as much as he wants to make money... a guy like...

#3070193 NFL London: You Guys Good With This?

Posted by CBDellinger on 05 November 2014 - 10:16 PM

The nfl is at high tide in the US market. The only place to grow considerably, aka make it worthwhile, is Europe.

NFL and it's owner don't do anything unless money is involved. Big money.

#3062186 Doubt inside BofA Cam is the future?

Posted by CBDellinger on 01 November 2014 - 11:25 AM

How is he supposed to feel comfortable stepping up to throw when the Oline is getting blown up more than they are not?

Cam is playing scared.

#3062073 Why is Jerry Richardson always sleeping during Panthers games?

Posted by CBDellinger on 01 November 2014 - 09:35 AM

There is a monitor right in front of him where he sits...Ike in the counter/table in front of him so he knows when he is on tv. When they show him he is looking down without moving his head so he looks asleep.

#3061839 TD laying Jimmy Graham the fcuk out last night

Posted by CBDellinger on 31 October 2014 - 10:02 PM

TD blew him up.. Fact.

But he hit him chest level... Prolly knocked the wind out of Graham since he wasn't prepared.

I was an intimidation shot. This happens in football all the time.

It's not cheap... It's how it is.

We need to stop pc-ing he hell out of football. This is a brutal game.

#3054427 How bad is Chandler that he isn't 1st up when Bell is out?

Posted by CBDellinger on 29 October 2014 - 10:05 PM

It shows you how awful our FO is.

It shows you what limited resources will get you.

There are not 32 starting caliber LTs in the nfl. When you scrimp, you end up with a bunch of shitty options.

cue up Bill Voth...

#3035707 Harper next Please!

Posted by CBDellinger on 21 October 2014 - 03:29 PM

Cutting Harper would free up two lockers in the locker room as well... one for him and the other where he parks his "Hover-round scooter."

#3035692 Godfrey Released

Posted by CBDellinger on 21 October 2014 - 03:24 PM

Oh, I think it would change a lot.

A sh1t ton.

Hardy back means Short and Star get single teamed and there is no room to step up.  Just like last year.

That makes every DB we have look better. Did last year.  I mean I dont think we lost a bunch of pro bowl DBs in the offseason or anything. Did we?

Imagine how that helps the run D game?!

#3035254 Clinton Portis on WFNZ yesterday....

Posted by CBDellinger on 21 October 2014 - 01:39 PM

Correct me if I'm wrong but Cam can't even be a FA for two more seasons, no?

3 more season after this one.

the 5th year option (which is already activated) for next year and 2 years with the franchise tag.

Which would make it very unwise for him to not take a deal in Carolina and wait for money which he cant even discuss with other teams for 3 more seasons.

Super stars just dont get away that easy in the NFL .

Chances of this happening are less than 10%.

#3010802 General question about hardy

Posted by CBDellinger on 11 October 2014 - 09:44 PM

Hardy may lack judgement, but he is also in a really difficult spot. Having all that money means people come after it. Had to discern who is real and who ain't. Esp for someone that may not know better and/or actually has a lot of money after having none their whole life.

Guys like that need an inner circle they can really trust, that will look out for them. Folks that were in it before the money.

I feel like Cam has that circle. I don't feel like Hardy does.
