#2939582 Josh Norman to cover .... Megatron?

Posted by Monday Night Shyamalan on 09 September 2014 - 03:43 PM

From David Newton ...

Rivera said he's already talked to the coaches about using Norman, a big (6-0), physical corner that might match up well at times with Detroit's Calvin Johnson (6-5, 236).

"Josh Norman deserves an opportunity to play," Rivera said. "Josh will do whatever he can to help the team, and he told us that. In all honesty, as we looked at that, he needs to play and that will be addressed."

#2892255 New Huddlers... introduce yourself....

Posted by Monday Night Shyamalan on 15 August 2014 - 10:35 PM

Look forward to years of mediocrity with the crows! haha, I'm from Geelong, a city about an hour away from Melbourne. So of course I'm a cats fan until I die!!

Haha, yeah I've been told the same thing by a number of other fans (and so far it has deemed true). The Cats are a solid club, a lot of history it seems. I'm still getting down the intricacies of the game, but a fascinating sport nonetheless. I'm hoping next time I make it out to Australia I will catch a match live.

Hey Guys,

I'm Sam, I'm a journalism student born and raised in Australia. First game I ever watched was Cam's national championship game, been hooked since.

Not much coverage out here, 1pm games are always difficult to tune into due to the 3am start locally here. Thank god for GamePass.

I do get odd looks wearing my Cam jersey around Melbourne but feels good to rep the Panthers from the other side of the globe.

Reggie Bush did come over here a few months ago, first taste of seeing an actual NFL player.

My roommate is a journalist from Adelaide. Great people, love Australia. He likes the NFL but never really had a team, because of me he's now a full-fledged Panthers pan and goes hard on gamedays. In return I'm becoming an Australian Rules Football fan, The Crows!!

#2874676 Liverpool vs. AC Milan: Saturday, August 2nd at 6:30pm at Bank of America St...

Posted by Monday Night Shyamalan on 02 August 2014 - 11:37 PM

I flew back from LA (originally from Charlotte) for the weekend just to see this game. Couldn't pass up European powerhouses playing in BOA. The stadium looked amazing as a pitch, great atmosphere, 69k fans. Felt kind of surreal to see so many world-class superstars playing in Cams house. I definitely think we made a strong case for more games in the future.

Like CarolinaPanthers8789 said, all depends how far you can go or what part of the country you will be in. Are you looking for 'real' America or the major cities, etc. I've been to every state and almost every major city in the country, all depends what you seek and what you are into. My personal list ...

San Fran

LA

NYC

Austin

Nashville

Close 2nd...

Chicago

#2827753 Do you have a second team to root for?

Posted by Monday Night Shyamalan on 23 June 2014 - 08:25 AM

Not a second team specifically, but I do like rooting for the underdog year to year. For example, the Chargers this past year. I also cringed knowing we could of had Allen.

#2826881 Mike Mitchell has Panthers helmet hanging in his Steelers locker

Next to the muhammad "shhhh" celebration in the NFC championship game this might be the most symbolic panthers picture ever. This momebt i believe stamped us as an elite team with that "dont fug with us attitude" to go into san fran, who had dominated the NFC for the last two years and beat them up from a physical standpoint was a beauty to see. By the end of that game frank gore looked like he didnt wanna touch the ball one more time and kaepernick looked truly scared to have the ball in his hands. This picture was truly the turning point of the season and if we win a superbowl could end up being the turning point of the Cam/Luke/Rivera era. Thanks for the memories Mike

I was at that game surrounded by Giner fans. When Mitchell pulled that stunt, the look on everyone's face was a thing of beauty.

#2817159 Roman Harper "Pats practice just like everyone else"

Posted by Monday Night Shyamalan on 12 June 2014 - 01:56 AM

So Harper put an obvious cheap-shot on Smitty. Cheap-shot's happen every game, so who cares. Harper is working hard to earn respect, and he has it with me. Dude is like a mirror image of Mitchell signing here last year (when everyone hated him for his attitude, cheap-shot on Cam, etc) and he flourished.

Bold prediction: Harper gets back to his pro-bowl form playing behind our front 7.

#2814726 Jacksonville Adding Pools to Stadium

Gotta give it to them, I think it's pretty cool. Kahn is changing the culture, and seems heavily invested in the organization. The Jags are trending up.

#2814721 Your 5 Boldest Predictions for the 2014 Season

Posted by Monday Night Shyamalan on 09 June 2014 - 08:36 PM

1) Proving something to himself and family after his mother's death … DLo has an unexpected breakout season in honor of her.

2) Cam progresses heavily as a pocket passer.

3) KB will not be as advertised.

4) Keek becomes the bonafide #1 LB in the game (IMO he already is, but most outside of Carolina won't agree).

5) Roman Harper finds his old Pro Bowl form again behind our front 7.
