#2858833 FOX NFL preseason power ranking- 15th

Posted by AceBoogie on 20 July 2014 - 12:52 PM

I think it's a little shortsighted too, to not take into account Cotchery and Avant when considering our offense. I think the two of them will take some of the pressure off Kelvin to be the big gun weapon for Cam. If we can get anything close to the production from our receivers as we got last year, I think we'll be okay.

If we're as good as last year we're in trouble, NO, ATL, TB all got better

#2852137 Hardy court thread : for all things that happen in court today

This whole thing is an embarrassment to the panthers org.

Never having back to back winning seasons is an embarrassment to the panthers organization, this is just one idiot making a fool of himself.

#2844961 Four Teams have Expressed Interest in Andre Johnson

He will go to a good team, that has less cap space than we do, and the huddle will say we don't need him. We got cotchery!

The Steve Smith hate is disgusting, have some fuging respect.

#2839811 I was there when...

We were down 17-0 to the Jags, and Jake took over after halftime for the Win. My first panthers game.

#2839502 G.Olsen:I'm a TE, not a WR and proud if it

Nobody confused you for a WR Greg

#2838397 Cam ranked smack dab in the middle of QBs according to some league insiders

Posted by AceBoogie on 02 July 2014 - 05:05 PM

So we have to put up with a mediocre quarterback throwing to the worse WR corps in the league?

Or maybe Cam isn't an elite passer because he's never played with legit playmakers. The closest he had was Steve Smith in his rookie season, when our defense was ass and our head coach was clueless.

Outside of Tom Brady, I've never seen a qb do more with less. People can scream about the defense all they want, but without Cam we would have lost a few of those games last year.

They played the year without two of their best offensive players, they'll be much better. Where would we have been without Smitty and Olsen last year?

#2823007 Appears that B.Bell may be watching from bench if things don't improve

The reason we have slow starts is because we spend the first few games of the season figuring out who is going to play.

#2822015 Carolina has almost $19M in dead money on the books

Posted by AceBoogie on 17 June 2014 - 08:58 AM

You're obnoxious and come across as a know it all. Guess what you don't, guess what I don't. Guess what none of us know.

The hardy tag will have ramifications whether good or bad. That's the defining move in the 2014 offseason.

It's been said over and fuging over again that smitty was gonna cost us 24 mill over the final two years if we didn't cut him THIS year. It's been stated by him that he was going to retire after this coming year if he was still a panther. Why did he not inform the front office and work out a team friendly one year deal? Probably because smitty wanted his money but we couldn't afford him for the production we were getting. That is elite money, he's not elite anymore sorry. Why didn't he pull a Gross and do a one year void contract?

Why aren't you asking these types of questions instead of a blame gettleman deal? Like gettleman is some bully out to get overpaid final tires on the tread, injury prone veterans like Beason and smitty.

For me personally it all comes down to the hardy tag. And not because of smitty or gross or Beason or whoever else had somehow been bullied by DG. It comes at the price of money, the future cap and sustaining a level of competitiveness. The tag can go either way. That was the gamble of the offseason. Not smitty or gross or Beason because they can be replaceable via the draft or the money we would have had via FA

All I know is that no attempt was made to redo his deal.

#2816631 Cam wants more than what Kap got- Ian Rap...

Posted by AceBoogie on 11 June 2014 - 01:13 PM

Lets see his performance this season before giving him a big contract.

Hopefully, Cam would have a bad year but Panthers keep winning...

•••Sent from my couch while fuging the Saints•••

Lol you aren't going to be able to get away with that with a guy like Cam Newton. He knows his talent, so does the other 31 teams. You can't give him a shitty contract just because you failed to give him adequate protection and playmakers. He'll go elsewhere before he settles for less than what he's worth. You take Cam off this team and we're the damn Cleveland Browns.
