#2738825 49ers Aldon Smith arrested at LAX

Young with money is not always a good thing. I pray cam continues to be smart leaving them h0es alone and reframes from the reefer. Nobody's perfect but makes you appreciate the role models we have that much more.

Don't go dragging Mary Jane into this

#2737155 Would Gettleman have drafted Cam?

BPA

But did he view Cam as the BPA, or just the best quarterback. Some didn't even view Cam as the best QB.

I don't get this. Our passing offense sucked a$$ last year. Besides the emotional attachment to Smitty, I really don't get the outrage

Just because it was bad, doesn't mean it can't get worse.

which means absolutely zero, zip, zilch, zowy, nuthin'.

They were still suppose to have Gronk and Aaron so it's not even close to the same.

Most of you fail to realize that Deangelo doesn't care about the consequences of his words. He spoke out about Chud while Chud was still here. I will never blame a man for speaking his mind. Cam can't do it so somebody has to. And again if you want Deangelo to produce more, you give him the ball more it's that simple.

That's like buying a 80k car and leaving it in your garage, but complain you're not getting your money's worth. Drive the damn car, or trade it in and get a fraction of what you paid for it.

Steve Wyche brought up an interesting point this morning after saying he thought the Panthers would be OK. His question was regarding the locker room and Deangelo's comment. To paraphrase: "If the Panthers start out slow like, 1-3, will they be able to overcome like last year or will Dwill's comments bubble to the top and start to permeate the locker room?" This animosity could be dangerous.

The problem is Deangelo isn't the only player that feels that way. Lose and it's going to get ugly

Or the 800 yard rusher has hit his ceiling, considering that's all he's done the past three years in multiple schemes

More carries=more yards period.

#2735730 Trade Up For MIKE EVANS?

Posted by AceBoogie on 10 April 2014 - 11:57 PM

i would love it personally.........as long as the risk isn't to high

say he falls to 22, we trade our 1st and a 4th or 5th..............epic

asking the gods of football to let there be someway he ends up on our team

He's going top 15 probably top ten.

Clausen would have probably been no better than Average, but he walked into a god awful situation. He never had a chance. It would have taken a special player to come out of that and Jimmy wasn't special. Could have been average tho, 2 or three year starter and then career back up.

Ok so I went back and did a comparison. It's one game so take it for what it's worth. I chose this game because the panthers app lets you look at every drive.
Week 1 Panthers vs Seahawks
Marshawn Lynch-17 carries 43 yards
Denagelo Williams- 17 carries 86 yards

A list of Marshawn Lynch's 17 carries
1. 5 yards
2. 5 yards
3. 7 yards
4. 2 yards
5. 1 yard
6. No gain
7. -3 yards
8. 2 yards
9. 5 yards
10. 4 yards
11. No gain
12. -1 yards
13. -5 yards
14. 2 yards
15. 5 yards
16. No gain
17. 14 yards

Deangelo's 17 carries
1. 5 yards
2. 5 yards
3. 6 yards
4. 4 yards
5. 2 yards
6. 2 yards
7. 2 yards
8. 12 yards
9. 3 yards
10. 3 yards
11. 2 yards
12. 1 yard
13. No gain
14. 3 yards
15. 4 yards
16. 8 yards
17. 16 yards and yea the fumble

You can say that fumble lost us the game but the fact is there were 5 minutes left on the clock and Seattle drove the ball 67 yards to run out the clock. On that last drive our 30 million dollar DE's combined for half a tackle.

Dwill produced similar to Marshawn Lynch except he got 100 less carries.

I don't think DWill has a talent issue I think we can't use it.

Exactly what I said, used bold font and everything.

And WHY is it that they take his carries at the goal line?

Don't hurt yourself you can do it...

You're proving my point, Dwill not being worth the money has nothing to with him.

D-will apparently can't hold his tongue any better than he can hold onto the football in clutch situations.

Dwill-8 fumbles in 8 years

AP-27 fumbles in 6 years

Marshawn Lynch-18 fumbles in 6 years

Frank Gore-29 fumbles in 8 years

Shut Up

Deangelo-18th in rushing yards

                 22nd in attempts

Huddle-he's overpaid, he sucks, he's why we have no money

I guess he calls the plays, he's not worth his contract, but that's not because of him.

Therein lies the point everyone is trying to make AceBoogie.

He almost had 900 yards, and he's being paid like he should have had over 1,200 as a workhorse back.

Smitty almost had 800 yards and was being paid like he should have had 1,200 or more.

I don't blame either man for getting his money. That's fine and I respect it. But then when you aren't worth a poo anymore don't be mad when you get cut.

Williams contract is a microcosm of this teams problems, which is why he should keep his fuging mouth shut, but you have no problem with what he said because it's honest? So if Tolbert came out and said Williams is old and shitty, and Stewart can't get off a bike, and I'm contributing way more than either of those two bums and yet I'm the one making peanuts would you have no problem with that because it's 100% fact?

You honestly don't think the guys playing in front of him have anything to do with that? Or the carries that Tolbert and Cam take from him? This is what I've been preaching to you guys about Cam. If you take Cam and pay him 100 million, then he needs to produce like it and he can't if he's not allowed to.

Deangelo was 22nd in Attempts and 18th in yards. You want him to be more productive? Give him the damn ball
