#3305373 Was beating Atlanta worth dropping 17 selections in the draft?

Posted by AceBoogie on Today, 11:37 AM

why are the continuous losers like jags raiders bucs ect. always picking in the top ten and still sucking with all those top ten picks?

Simple, they don't have a QB.

#3304707 Panthers Win Super Bowl IF?

The team one day decides to maximize Cam's talent the way the Colts have. Everything the Colts have done from coaching staff, to talent acquisition has been done to make sure Andrew Luck is successful.

But we plan on paying a QB 100 million to be a game manager. If your QB is going to make that much money you're going to start needing to get serious. But we have a Ferrari using Dollat store oil, while screaming the Ferrari needs to be more consistent....right.

#3301011 same as last year, Rivera says Cam has got to become a more sound QB

What is Mike Wallace? Jarvis Landry is no scrub either and you're forgetting Cam didn't play two games that would have been stat stuffers

Can anyone name any weapon on the Dolphins team? Ryan F'ing Tannehill, passed for more yds, higher completion %, threw for more TDs and had a higher rate than Cam with a far worse oline. But yeah, it's weapons.

Did he have offseason ankle surgery? Have a WR group that had never caught a pass from him in a NFL game?

I have actually said he needed more help in the past. My point is with some posters there will never be enough "help".

All I heard in 2013 was that Lafell was the problem. I guess Brady didn't get that memo.

Our offense was about as bad in 2013 before the great WR purge and Bell/Chandler experiment.

I'm not saying it is all Cam's fault but I have my doubts that fixing our offense is as easy as signing some "2" receiver. I think it is a combination of QB play, surrounding talent, and coaching.

My god people. Let's clear this Lafell poo up right now. Lafell is a professional football player that gets paid is he not allowed to improve? He's improved every year he's been in the league, but everyone wants to give Brady all the credit.

He averaged 12.8 yards per catch with Cam in 2013 and 12.9 with Brady last year. He had 5 tds with Cam and 7 with Brady. The only difference in the Lafell with Cam and the Lafell with Brady is that Tom Brady throws the damn ball more than Cam giving Lafell more receptions and yardage. Everything else is virtually identical.

Maybe Ron shouldn't depend on Cam using his athleticism as much 1st. .

Ding ding ding, coming from the same coach that exploits his athleticism to win games because you can't build a decent offensive unit.

#3298075 Gettleman on Sirius NFL Radio 3/24/2015

Posted by AceBoogie on 24 March 2015 - 09:45 PM

I can't believe there are some actual fans that despise this man for previous regime issues and calculated (yet cold) business tactics. Gettleman is a TRUE General Manager. We are damn lucky to have him. The Panthers organization is trending upward because of him.

It's actually more like ↔️↗️↘️ At this point since he's gotten here. Let's be objective here, we went from 7-9, to 12-4, to 7-8-1. Applaud him all you want but you are what your record says you are. The game ain't played on paper, and despite back to back division titles, we've yet to put together back to back winning seasons.

#3297288 Evan Mathis likely to be cut

Posted by AceBoogie on 24 March 2015 - 11:22 AM

Norwell is the next Mathis.

We don't need him.

If you make assumptions like that, you'd better be right

#3297112 If our offensive coordinator didn't carry a legendary name

Posted by AceBoogie on 24 March 2015 - 09:48 AM

Our offense runs best when Cam can do his own thing, what does that tell you

#3296109 Blue Goose Huddlers

Posted by AceBoogie on 23 March 2015 - 04:03 PM

Are we talking AceBoogie the tailgater or AceBoogie on the Huddle? One of those is a good dude - the other is the opposite.

That's fair

Mr. Igo, looks like you got this one wrong

#3294300 Russel Wilson Contract News

Posted by AceBoogie on 22 March 2015 - 08:50 AM

I don't know why people think this has a bearing on Cam's contract. Russell deserves MORE money than Cam imo. He's done much more throughout his short career.

He hasn't, but his team has. This ain't basketball, where the team with the best player usually wins. It's a complete team game. Put Cam on Seattle and Wilson here. Are they a worse team with Cam? Would we be a better team with Wilson?

#3294288 Panthers talk to Greg Jennings

Posted by AceBoogie on 22 March 2015 - 08:15 AM

Hammy down Cam

#3285156 Cam is going to get paid

Posted by AceBoogie on 15 March 2015 - 10:19 AM

Again. Where are these people?

In his head, most here don't care how much he makes. We just know you're going to have to pay in the 100 million range to keep him. If Gettleman's goal is to talk him down to that, it's a waste of time.

#3285104 Mike Wallace traded to the Vikings for a 5th round pick

Posted by AceBoogie on 15 March 2015 - 09:27 AM

The vikes are a deeply traditioned franchise, once they have a QB they build around him. Bridgewater with his pocket artistry and accuracy can really cause damage to a defense. Now I see them going OL in the draft.

You see how simple it is. This franchise has been trying to do that for the last 5 years with Cam or at least they pretend they are.

They've been trying to build a defense while still asking their offense to win games because the defense can't get stops.
