#2898585 Jake Delhomme on the Mac Attack - Panthers have more than enough weapons for Cam

Posted by AceBoogie on 19 August 2014 - 04:24 PM

Says the guy who played with 89 in his prime, 87, and 81. Not to mention the real double trouble

#2897751 Could you imagine if Cam had done this?

Posted by AceBoogie on 19 August 2014 - 06:20 AM

Well I mean Cam already gets crap for wearing a towel on his head so....

Which is crazy compared to Manziel giving the bird in an exhibition game.

Was there anybody in America who didn't know we were going to run it up the middle on the very first play of the game?

My two year old clapped, she knows panther football.

#2896681 Pam Oliver questions to Cam?

I'm sorry that you see racism in everything. You must not know about the training of animals to do simple tasks. Would it be better if he said bird, hippo, or dog?

I don't see racism in everything, I didn't put a hoodie on for trayvon, and I ain't marching for mike brown, but comparing a black person to a monkey is racist as hell

#2895209 Official Panthers - Chiefs Gameday Thread

Anybody heard from AceBoogie lately? Or was he just here for the 1st quarter?

Had to come to work, which is why I couldn't attend the game in person I'm still here. And no I'm not excited about the offense yet. Did some good, but a lot of ugly too.

Fox keeps talking about how "you build around a franchise QB. But the Panthers got rid of theirs".

Well, that's what why the Panthers god rid of them. They're building around their franchise QB, and they didn't think last years were part of the Plan.

Why can't the OL defend the Blitz?

You don't build around your QB, by adding old 3rd teir WRs. Go check out the weapons Luck, Colin, RG3, and Dalton have.

Didn't know Hoyer was the backup

So what happens if/when KB puts up 8-14 TD, compared to Smitty's (what) 4 or 4 TD's last year?

And that's not counting what Dickson may be able to do.

Then we'll all be happy

#2882901 Jimmy clausen lighting it up tonight

Jimmy never had a chance of a career, he was drafted into a horrible situation. Good to see him doing well.

Just being devils advocate....but that one time out of four in 20 years?....

I was fortunate to just purchase my psl last year, first year psl owner and we made the playoffs so I'm winning.

#2881564 PSLs

There are literally no benefits, unless you're Jerry Richardson. It greatly benefits him, mainly his wallet. You have to pay the thousands of dollars for the PSL (for every individual seat) plus the normal price for season tickets. Then you buy season tickets every single year thereafter. And you have to buy season tickets every single year or they take away your PSL and sell it to someone else, and you lose all of that money. You pay a ridiculous amount of money to feel entitled and feel special and walk around saying "I'm a PSL owner!" About the only benefit I see is being able to keep the exact same seat every year, but that's also a negative. If you just buy season tickets you can switch up sections every year and view the stadium from different angles.

Why anyone would pay throw away all that money for nothing is beyond me. And it's not like the tickets will ever become UNC-Duke @ Cameron levels of expensive and hard to get. There will always be seats reserved for season tickets and individual purchase. You'll always be able to get in the stadium anytime you please.

Don't let them tell you "well when the team wins a Super Bowl and tickets are 500% face value it'll be worth it." No it won't. It all evens out because you're still having to buy all those tickets when the team is 2-14 and the laughing stock of the league.

My dad bought a pair of PSLs in '95. He paid nearly $20k for 2 PSLs and has paid fill price for season tickets (full price for all preseason games also) for 20 years now. All those losing seasons, '01 1-15 & '10 2-14 teams that were unwatchable included, and he still had to fork over the money just to keep from losing his PSLs. Whereas I didn't buy PSLs, and I've never even bought season tickets because you have to pay full price for 2 preseason games. I've been to all but 5 games in Charlotte since '96. And I didn't have to buy PSLs or season tickets. Yeah, last year and this year I'll be paying a bit over face value, but all those years the team sucked I either got tickets for a fraction of the cost, and a lot of times people just gave them to me. I've sat in about every upper and lower level section and seen the stadium from all angles. Whereas my father has paid out of his ass every year and sees the games from the same seat every year.

Don't be a sucker.

Sitting in a playoff seat thats running 300+ online and only paying half that, yea those pesky perks.

#2881555 Les Be Honest, I love Smitty..

Posted by AceBoogie on 08 August 2014 - 01:39 PM

doesn't bother me either. i thought it would, but i moved on. i'm too excited about this team and seeing cam with benjamin and the other non-midget WRs who can actually catch.

smitty is in the past and i don't live there.

This is the disrespectful poo I'm talking about right here. He's caught the ball enough to be top 20 in receiving yards, despite playing with mediocre qbs for the bulk of his career.
