As we slowly approach Buc week, I just wanted to take some time to say thank you to the wonderful people on this board who sent my friends and I those care packages! I also wanted to say thank you to Zod for making this board which has kept me entertained on my off hours! Thank you to those posters which keep me laughing everytime I get on this place!
Now for the Buccaneers! Its been tough trying to follow the team especially when you're 9.5-10.5 hours ahead of the team haha! But Its been a wonder to follow this team from afar especially when they are so good! The success of Cam Newton and company has made for some good conversation with the Louisiana Guard Unit we are replacing LOL.
SO to end this, I am saying thank you to all of you on this Board!
There are a lot of great goals on this thread. I've always felt my calling was to be the best. Not in a prideful, arrogant way, but in a way where I use my position to better others and myself in ways that few can. I've set a goal to become a special forces medical sergeant. This is a strange goal for even myself because it doesn't fit in the mold of what a normal person wants or strives for. A normal person doesn't want to see the defeat of death and the triumph of having saved a human life and not only doing that, but doing it on a level that jacks up the stress to maximal heights. To give a little background on my mindset, today I climbed a 7000 foot mountain in New Mexico because I wanted to get to the top. I wasn't planning on it and I didn't even have climbing gear. I reached half way up a 300 ft rock face and decided that even though I was covered in cactus spines and cut up from the rather sharp rocks sticking out in some places, I was going to climb that damn mountain. I guess I tell this story not to make myself sound cool, but as a way to say that I want to reach the top no matter what. Today's really proved a lot to me.
