Hardy is done. He screwed Carolina. Yet people act like he is the victim still.
Hardy was the one who got screwed. By the judge, by the media, by the league, and by the team not standing behind their player explaining to the nation how the North Carolina justice system works. But they left him on his own to have his name dragged through the mud on something it's not even proven if he's done.
No back bone by the team caused Hardy not to play. The panthers could have chosen to play Hardy because we all know the bench trial means jack poo once he appeals but no. They caved and they are the reason he got paid for doing nothing all season.
I'm one of the few people who have read the book so I feel like I'm actually qualified to speak on the subject. I have mixed feelings on Kyle. On one hand he was extremely good at his job and he saved a ton of servicemen lives. On the other hand he was a pretty bad person. His racism and lying isn't just something that can be ignored. I hesitate to call him a hero because of that. While his actions may have been heroic his intentions and mindset weren't.
Either way I wish both sides would shut the hell up and stop making ignorant facebook posts about it
I wish people would just stop using Facebook. That's the real issue here.
No, dumfug. You don't read well either, I see. I said because defenses were allowed to hit the QB... period. Today;s QBs couldn't take the hits guys like Montana, Elway and Marino took. But, I'm sure you never heard of those guys, right?
Wow, such insight, intelligence and wit. Don't you have Mommy to come pick you up from daycare soon?
You're a clueless child.
How senile are you? Of course I know who Montana elway and Marino are.
And your whole reasoning behind this terrible opinion is completely devoid of anything pertaining to actually quarterback skill. Just their ability to take a hit.
I think that our underwhelming WR corp hurts Shula's success as a play caller,
But I also think Shula's lack of play design creativity exasperates the problem.
I think our horrible Oline for most of the season handcuffed Shula b/c it hindered our run game which is the foundation of our offense,
But I also think Shula's read option calls in the wrong situations and the long developing pass plays made the offensive line look worse than it already was.
In other words I think Shula is average. If we have an elite defense to go along with his averageness, like last year and the end of this one, we can win. But if the defense slips at all, we're in trouble.
This!! My whole point wasn't that Shula is a chip kelly or that we are lucky to have him cause if we fired him he would get scooped up by another team. Just that he isn't as horrible as people make him out to be. We were able to be middle of the pack despite our weak offensive talent.
