I'd try my damnedest to go all out for my nationally televised job interview where you get to compete head to head for millions of dollars. Maybe that's just me.

Game film> combine numbers

End of story

#2725395 is it time to expand our scouting department?

What about the other 11 teams that also didn't attend?

#2724266 DeSean Jackson agrees to terms with Redskins

Luck, RG3 get offensive help. Cam? scrubs.

Cam got an elite defense. Which has helped him win more games then RG with all his weapons. Let's see how this draft shakes out

Meh, you like cats, I prefer dogs.

I also don't particularly like QBs that are short.

But like I said, you can win a SB with Jordy as a "number one." I just personally would not go into a season with him as number one unless I had a Rodgers or Manning or Brady or Brees...

I love dogs your argument is invalid. I jest but Steve was a number one and the best receiver in the league at a point in time regardless of his height. Kinda a lame qualifier

Its really hard to explain, but I have said on multiple occasions that:

The Jaguars have a number 1
Packers don't have a number 1
The Eagles (with Jackson) do not have a number 1
The Dolphins (admittedly not a great one) have a number 1

IMO, being a number 1 is not singular about production. Welker could have more receptions and yards and TDs than Moss in NE but I would say that Moss is number 1.

Also, it doesn't mean you cannot be productive without a number 1...the Packers and Eagles had two of the better offenses...the Jaguars and Dolphins had two of the poorer offenses.

To me, being a number 1 entails body size, athletic ability, production, and speed. A person you can plug into any offense and should produce and should have some measure of success against any type of defense.

Yeah you've said it multiple times and you are wrong. Jordy is clearly a number one and Cobb was about to have a break out season before his injury both of them would be number ones on a lot of teams

Having friends that our in gangs is not the same as being actively involved with the gang himself. That's a huge difference between him and Hernandez so anyone making that comparison is lazy and ignorant.

Multiple players speak out about how football saved their lives because they had friends who've died to hang violence and football kept them from that. Someone please try to explain the different between that and this

#2718416 Cyrus Kouandjio..... WHY?

Posted by CarolinaCoolin on 27 March 2014 - 01:23 PM

To add on to what you are saying, I think it is best to look at it like "draft a guy you will have an immediate impact AND someone you see having a successful career." Not someone who can start and be a marginal upgrade for 1 or 2 seasons and then needs to be replaced.

Sometimes the combine can be over rated. You ALWAYS go with the tape over combine numbers. And with that said Cyrus is one of the top OT's in the draft class *if healthy*.

Personally, id prefer Turner out of all the possible LT's we could get. But Cyrus would be next on the list if he stays healthy.

Wow an actual reasonable post regarding this guy. Didn't think that was possible from this board
