#3296119 Four racist cops in Florida lose their jobs

Posted by CarolinaCoolin on 23 March 2015 - 04:06 PM

News reports like these are exceptions not rules. For every one story we see like this you bet your ass there are 5+ that get swept under the rug because cops protect their own and this poo just continues on

I don't know how anyone can constantly and consistently see news reports like these or videos in which cops are straight up killing people and act like there isn't something wrong with the way our police force operates and its fuging scary. All it takes is one asshole cop to make a persons life miserable and the overwhelming percent of the time nothing bad happens to officer. It's sick.

i hope you don't view this as an actual problem. worrying about job security for prison personnel seems antithetical to the goal of prison systems as social correction and rehabilitation facilities.

prison guards hitting the unemployment line sounds like progress to me.

This exact point was in the documentary. Something along the lines of Vice squads being shut down because of legalization and how that's a terrible excuse not to legalize.

I think there's strong minority of people in power in this country who have made sooo much money from it being illegal they've ingrained it into the system. They've done a great job of forcing our most recent presidents in keeping tough on marijuana. For all of obamas time smoking in high school and college he's been the harshest of presidents when it comes to enforcing federal raids.

#3293973 Panthers talk to Greg Jennings

I could see him catching like 60 balls for 800-900 yards and 5-6 tds in our offense as the number three easy along with Olsen and KB. Our offense would instantly be respecting in the passing game all we would need to do is solidify the o-line and we'd be in business.

Good point. The Steelers and Eagles games were hard to watch.

Eagles game especially. I've never seen a more terrible offensive effort.

#3291819 House of Cards, Season 3 (Spoilers)

Posted by CarolinaCoolin on 20 March 2015 - 04:16 AM

i don't see claire going after the nomination though. that makes no sense in the world HOC has created. if she got excoriated for getting the ambassador post it'd be far worse for president or even VP.

THANK YOU!!

I think the second pick is all speed no substance and he's gonna bust. Would much rather flip and get DGB in the first then Jake Fisher in the second

#3291396 Joe Montana NFL Football 16... AKA NFL 2k16... Madden's tyrannical monopo...

Posted by CarolinaCoolin on 19 March 2015 - 07:08 PM

It's actually very much like a trading card game which is why I don't waste a second of time on it. It's a time or money sink that I don't have the time for, and don't care to spend actual money on.

As a guy who plays actual trading card games it's nothing like a trading card game. All these "cards" are representing is players. When you go into the actual game you are just playing with your players. It's no different then playing madden with a custom team of players. The players are just in forms of cards but it isn't even a trading card game. That would be like me calling kickball soccer because you kick the ball. The only thing they have in common is one thing but they are completely different.

It's really funny people not even playing FUT or "wasting their time on it" yet think they have enough knowledge on the subject to actually know what it is.

#3289738 Someone explain the: Iran/USA Agreement/Treaty issue.

Posted by CarolinaCoolin on 18 March 2015 - 03:15 PM

I don't know, if I'm Iran I'd be pissed. The country that's been involved in more wars than any other in the past 100 years is gonna tell me what I can or cannot have to protect my citizens? As my institutionalized brother would say...

Y'all got me fuged up

#3288715 Cowboys in negotiations with Greg Hardy?

Posted by CarolinaCoolin on 17 March 2015 - 08:18 PM

No, you're just making excuses for Greg.

What other individuals do has absolutely no bearing on the decisions you make in life. It's called personal accountability. And judging by your stance on this issue it's probably something you lack also. Blaming others for your mistakes, it's something most Americans like to do. It's everybody's fault but mine.

Saying Greg was penalized because of Ray Rice is like the girl who blames her boyfriend when she gets caught cheating. "It's your fault you shouldn't have went through my phone."

The Ray Rice incident making penalties stiffer is irrelevant. Greg is the one who chose to date a bi-polar, coke snorting club groupie.

The penalty for carrying a knife in an airport is a hell of a lot more severe than it was before 9/11. So I guess that means people who get caught trying to smuggle knives onto an airplane are getting screwed over too and it isn't really their fault.

Greg could have done the same thing he's rookie year or in year 2 or 3 and the maximum punish could have been 2 games.

Ray rice video drops and he's gone for an entire year. The video isn't irrelevant. It very much is relevant as it adds context to every situation surrounding it. No amount of closing your eyes and ears to that will change anything. The video is in direct correlation with gregs situation. They will always be linked.

The video is what changed the landscape of the NFL and how they view these things. Especially greg being innocent through out the entire process.

There are no excuses there. Just facts.

At any other point in NFL history does greg get accused of things he didn't do nothing happens to him. Rice video leaks and anyone in connection with DV is scorched earth.

You are under the assumption Greg is guilty. He's not. Go take your rant somewhere else
