#3256816 NFL: Greg Hardy won't be reinstated because he hasn't been discipline...

Posted by CarolinaCoolin on 27 February 2015 - 03:38 PM

Did you just try to compare...eh...nevermind. Even I won't tangle with that logic

Nah the argument is if you get paid it isn't a punishment.

Everyone else is arguing losing time isn't the punishment. This is to clearly demonstrate that Hardy was punished with losing time he can never get back.

It's funny that YOU are the one talking about terrible logic. That's your bread and butter

For all the people who shout about Hardy not having been punished so far, imagine you were paid to maintain/moderate/provide content to the Huddle (shouldn't be too difficult for some of the people that support this view).

Now imagine you were told that you could no longer access the Huddle, but you'd still get paid.

Would you be ok with that?

Not even remotely the same thing but nice try.

How about

You are one of the best on the planet at your specific job but only have 'x' number of years to be at the top level of this job and can only get paid in that amount of time. And before you are allowed market yourself to cash in on potentially the only pay day you could ever earn which will have to last your the rest of your life you are told you are suspended indefinitely but will receive payment only for that year.

Does that sound like a vacation? That sounds like a getting pissed on and being told its rain.

Again, that doesn't matter. NFL doesn't NEED that.

NFL doesn't need proof Hardy paid her off and they dont need a court verdict or even a criminal charge

Show me the precedent in which players have been punished for just being accused on their first offense

#3255995 NFL: Greg Hardy won't be reinstated because he hasn't been discipline...

Okay....then he was charged and arrested for a violent crime and pays off a girl before the court date.

Again, through the NFL eyes THAT is gonna get you some form punishment in today's NFL.

doesnt seem like you even grasp my arguement

Can you prove he paid her off besides citing the prosecution who hadn't been able to track her down following the first trial?

No you can't.

The charges were dismissed. The prosecution didn't even have a case.

In the eyes of the law he's been innocent since day one. You are trying so hard man smh

Doesn't matter how the law works in NC.....not in this discussion. That only matters when talking about Greg's legal situation. We aren't talking about that....

What would happen in another state? Would it matter? Sure it would. Just b/c NC has a quirky law doesn't mean it doesn't matter for Hardy but would have someone in Calif that doesn't have that quirk law....NFL would look at both the same. B/c the only difference is the quirk....and that really doesn't matter.

If he wasn't in NC he wouldn't have had a bench trial guilty verdict so your whole argument falls flat on its face. You might be one of the worst posters. Consistently showing your ass in the offseason smh

People age 65+ shouldn't be allowed to vote or hold office

#3255540 Judge overturns Peterson suspension

Posted by CarolinaCoolin on 26 February 2015 - 04:31 PM

Damn all these Hardy defenders are SOOOOO emotional!!!

Can't they see that even though Hardy wasn't found guilty and the NFL can't make up rules as they go along they can do whatever they want and no one can say anything?! Geez

NFL doesn't care about what's right or fair.

Sike. Teeray has been calling it from the beginning. They aren't going to be able to do much to Hardy. They can't pull things out of their ass. It will go to a judge and be slapped down.

I trust Gettleman's draft 100%. Solid record.

Free agency record is a different story.

Counting all the udfas hes been money.

Harper
Mitchell
Ginn
Remmers
Norwell
Brown

All solid guys who contributed to playoff berths and fit what we needed them to do for cheap.

Free agency record has probably been just as solid given the little amount of money he had to work with

One of the best episodes of the series. Was tense, was meaningful. The battle of the groups identity and survival are constantly pitted against eachother I love it.

#3248068 If you go by the interview, Winston will be the first pick.

I do have "some ill bias towards the kid." And so should you.

Nah I'll pass on having an ill bias towards a kid I've never met. You have some serious problems if you think that's ok.

I'm also not going to condemn d a kid for allegations that haven't been proven.

The guys "character issues" are completely over blown.

Lets not forget ginn is soft as fug. I'd rather have Moore if the option is between the two

#3243722 cbssports.com La Canfora: Panther's highest offseason priority? Sign Cam

Cam getting paid and the team not getting cap fugged are not mutually exclusive ideas. Both can and will happen. Everyone needs to take a page out of Rodgers book and .......R-E-L-A-X

#3243049 Man in Washington gunned down after throwing rocks at police and then fleeing.

Posted by CarolinaCoolin on 15 February 2015 - 08:42 PM

It's fuged up that they chased him down then shot and killed him. They easily could have just tackled him and arrested him after he threw the rock that wasn't life threatening to them at all.
