#2734330 D-Will in shock over loss of receiving corp

Posted by TheRumGone on 10 April 2014 - 11:42 AM

Deangelo-18th in rushing yards

                 22nd in attempts

Huddle-he's overpaid, he sucks, he's why we have no money

I guess he calls the plays, he's not worth his contract, but that's not because of him.

he is overpaid and he is a PART of the reason we have no money.

and if you actually watched the game it goes something like this

1 rush -2 yards

1 rush 3 yards

1 rush 2 yards

1 rush 28 yards

he is the definition of inconsistency. and you can bitch about the o-line, but my guess is if we plugged in a drafted rb he would produce the same, quite possibly more since he is younger and less worn down.

we are paying/paid him like marshawn lynch. I dont get how this is so hard to understand.

We will find out soon enough

Yea or maybe dg is trying to sabotage the panthers and cam because he doesn't like how he smiles. Who knows though I mean the latter sounds more rational right

If he doesn't draft a WR, and we go into the season with Cotchery as our best wr then yes. I'm not talking about some bum for the fourth round either. You said his plan was to get Cam weapons this offseason right? Well I need to see it, haven't yet. He has to nail this draft, thats the bed he's made.

ohhhhhh ok. so all this bitching and whining is for naught.

and you made the choice to believe he wouldn't draft Cam weapons based on one draft where we took KK instead of Allen and Star instead of Hopkins.

gotcha

It has finally dawned on me that some of you are so affected by the cutting of Steve Smith that it doesn't matter what Gettleman does, you hate him and will always distort reality to fit your narrative that everything in your world that is wrong is Dave Gettleman's fault.

my father taught me to never debate with intellectual fools.

but this is just too much fun

Gettleman's built in excuse. Next offseason I want you to look at all 32 team's salary cap and compare it to ours, then look at their moves and look at ours.

gettleman's built in excuse?

do you think he is trying to sabotage this team or something? sabotage Cam?

If we win the Super Bowl do you really give a fug?

so we would definitely win the super bowl next year with the team we had? you act like that is a sure thing

or would you rather take your chances regrouping, being able to sign cam and luke long term, (because that is a BIG question mark if we resigned all of our other players), letting greg hardy walk who was a big piece in that playoff run and his ceiling looks similar to Cams.

you want immediate gratification, winning the superbowl isn't some automatic thing; or we could regroup, get the cap in order, draft talent (which gettleman is known for) and come back at this thing with more firepower and a longer window of opportunity.

gettleman made his choice. not enough bitching and whining in the world will change that. i don't think you realize the cap implications of keeping the players we had on the 2013 squad. mike mitchell got paid 25 fuging million dollars.

And seriously, if you want to whine about people sitting around making money doing nothing than you should be demanding Gettleman cut Godfrey. Heck, we're paying Steve Smith 5 million not to play for us.

do you want to pay smith 10 mill then 12 mill the next two years?

honest question; a 36 then 37 year old wide receiver 22 million over the next two years?

what is happening this season needed to be done whether we have growing pains or not

Yea because Kenjon Barner did just that....o wait

Kenjon is a a scat back. You damn well know there are different kinds of Rbs. You can draft full workload backs in the 5th round. But continue to not think objectively

And you'll also find a better oline/scheme.

wait

so if we found a better oline/scheme than dwill would be better? HOLY poo why didn't i think of that?

i dunno probably because if i drafted a RB in the 5th or 6th round he could still post similar production with a better oline/scheme and be the fraction of the cost.

then buddy, we could use that money to bring in a FA that you have been bitching and crying about all offseason.

this is  the same damn thing as jimmy graham bitching about the saints losing players this offseason.

dwill is a great dude, but come on man how do these players not realize what the fug is going on?

His contract isn't the problem, its when you add in Stewarts. Deangelo has remained a productive player for us, even when having to split carries which limits his numbers.

yea um no.

giving any rb that contract who isn't AP is retarded. You can find similar production dwill has had over that contract in a 6th round draft pick.

AND HEY guess what we could have used all that money for .....

A fuging WIDE RECEIVER

#2734108 D-Will in shock over loss of receiving corp

Posted by TheRumGone on 10 April 2014 - 10:05 AM

It's not his job to take a pay cut, when he signed his contract he was well worth the money. It's the front office's job to get the most out of him by putting an offensive line in front of him. When the line blocks, dwill runs well. If you know you don't have a great offensive line then it's the coaches job to scheme and design plays to mask that.

no he was not worth the value when it was obvious the nfl was transitioning to a passing league.

if you think he was worth the money then you need to shut up about getting wide receivers in FA.

I'm not clicking the link because I don't give Damashek hits. Thus I have no idea what is going on here, I have no idea who Luke Renad is. Good day sir.

uh dude its la renarde/renard for male but who gives a poo it's french

and you need to brush up dude.

In French he would be called "la renarde" and he would be hunted with only his cunning to protect him.

stop trying to spoil my fun

yo pantherfaninmaine. i dont think that was the thread. but i know 100% some dude with a new account was acting insanely butthurt in one of those uniform threads. a mod ( i think scrum) confirmed the account was from pittsburgh, where in fact dameshek said he was on twitter at that time.

i'm sure other posters will confirm they read this in one of those threads. it was hilarious.
