#3211725 McCarthy was too conservative

Okay, so has anyone mention the fact that when Burnett picked that last INT he slid down.......with FIVE MINUTES left in the game? The heck he think was gonna happen??? Was he told to do that incase of an INT by the coach or something?

He got the ball for his offense. Worst thing that can happen is to fumble the INT away. Of course Seattle players wouldn't go down like that. It's the difference between warriors and pacifists.

#3211308 Russell Wilson is a first ballot hall of famer

They don't make a Hall of Fame for players who get carried to Super Bowls by a superior team. Ask Trent Dilfer about that.

Qbs with back-to-back super bowls go to the HOF.

#3211142 I'm starting to have Patroit level hate for the Seahawks

It's not luck.

The fake FG kept them within range, the defense kept them within range. From there you just have to make plays, which they did.

Best pass by Seattle all day on the fake FG.

1-8 14 Yd 3 Int

Wilson is average. He was never a great QB in college & he never will be in the pros.

He's not so hot when his defense isn't shutting out the other team & he can just hand the ball to Lynch. This is probably the first game of his career he's had to throw & come from behind- & he sucks.

Really Manning looked better than both these QBS last week when you take into account all the drops and spotty line play.

Playoff football is about defense.  Seattle hasn't had to deal with much of that playing Washington, Atlanta, NO, Denver - they did have to deal with SF D and won on the last play in that one.

Russell Wilson is struggling... The hall of fame QB has no completions? 0/3

Good thing Wilson is creating turnovers and preventing touchdowns on defense.

#3209849 THUGS in OHIO RIOT after Championship win, nobody cares.

Posted by PanthersClinic on 18 January 2015 - 01:52 PM

There actually is a strong link between sports riots and race related protests.

It's all directly related to tribalism, very primitive emotions of my group vs yours. Whether it's your political group, sports team or ethnic group, it's all based on tribalism. In sports tribalism can be fun, it's great to wear your teams colors and scream and shout.

There has to be some self-control and limits though. Once you start assaulting people and destroying private property you become a beast, something less than human and that's what you see in the Ferguson riots, the London riots, the LA riots, and the riots after sports championships.

Alcohol also plays a huge role. Often called a social stimulant, it basically removes inhibitions. Inhibitions can be bad if they cause excess anxiety and make it difficult to communicate with people or go out in public. Inhibitions can be good when they prevent you from assaulting people and destroying private property.

Someone with dreads.

#3205674 Panther Awards. Who's your MVP, MIP, DPOY, OPOY, ROY?

MIP-- Cam Newton (The Panthers go as he goes)

They were 2-0 without Cam though.

#3203560 Hindsight: Right 4 teams in CFP?

Posted by PanthersClinic on 13 January 2015 - 05:07 PM

This shows why the playoff is necessary.

Ohio State clearly is the best team in the nation. Without a playoff it would've been Alabama or Oregon vs FSU.

I still think they should expand to 8 teams and cut the regular season by a couple games. Drop the cupcakes.

#3203487 Steve Smith attempted to fight Jermaine Wiggins after loss?

Huddle TMZ strikes again...

If you don't care about the guy so much, why take every opportunity to put his name in your mouth?

There's probably a psychological term for this. It's basically like when I guy asks a girl out and gets rejected and then starts calling her a slut.

You see this all the time in regards to Fox and Smith and to a lesser extent with Peppers.
