You can hate on Vonleh's fg % all you want. He is going through the motions and i love his hustle. The skill set is obviously there, the shots just aren't falling yet. He is taking good shots that just aren't falling. I mean heck the kid is only 18.
MKG will not be an all star even if he develops a jumper. He does not have the scoring acumen to be such.
I disagree, I think his lack of jumper hurts his inside game right now. He could develop a jumper, then people would be wary of his shot and pump fake more. This will allow him to really show off his slashing ability that you already see flashes of.
Enjoyed hearing that the Hornets rank #1 in full-season ticket sales for next year. The Bobcats ranked 30th in merchandise sales, so in addition to giving the people what they wanted, it seems to have exceeded expectations from a business standpoint. It would be silly to say that it was just fans or only business reasons for making the change as there was obviously multiple factors which in this case, can be called a "win-win."
The season ticket sale stat is kind of deceiving. We are #1 in "new" season ticket sales not total. So we aren't selling more season tickets than the say the lakers or knicks....Not yet at least!
Kind of Sentimental for me that tonight is probably the last bobcats game. Not going to be devastated and excited to pull for the Charlotte Hornets next season! But still kind of sentimental at the same time.
- The Heat have jumped Miami due to games in hand.
- The Bulls are now tied with the Raptors for third.
- The Bobcats are only two games out of sixth with a remaining schedule of @ 76ers, vs. Magic, @ Cavs, @ Wizards, @ Celtics, vs. 76ers, @ Hawks, and vs. Bulls.
- The Knicks are one game behind Atlanta for the final playoff spot.
I fail to see how the heat can jump themselves . Currently our Magic is Number is 4. The next 4 games are must wins if we want to stay in the chase for the 6th seed in the east. However, I'm not terrified of the Pacers the way they are playing right now and think we would give them all they can handle.
