In Topic: Thomas Davis named NFC Defensive Player of the Week

Here's the write-up by our ESPN team reporter David Newton:

Briefly, it talks about how TD received no recognition for coming back from his 3rd ACL tear last year. Thought about retiring after the 3rd one. JR giving him yet another chance. Restructured contract in 2012 to play for vet minimum. Article ended with a medical study about ACL tears & only 63% of players played again & 2 years after the surgery 55% of them are out of the league.

I'm hoping Hardy is in that group of "others".

Hmm? What's going on? I heard you say my name.

Funny thing, remember Ricky Williams? The RB Ditka & the Taints gave up a whole draft's worth of picks to move up & draft? His contract was like that & all I heard was how terrible an idea it was. "You can't pay them like that! They have to make their $$$ NOW because of the injury risk"

I would hear that and think, "Why are they entitled to have so much $$$ dumped in their laps? Why can't they earn it 1 yard at a time like I have to earn my paycheck 1 hour at a time? The purpose of the college they went to was to prepare them for a real career so they can do SOMEthing after they hang up the cleats"

Guess I was ahead of the curve then.

In Topic: Thomas Davis named NFC Defensive Player of the Week

It happened almost 2 years ago...in a dark lab on an uncharted tropical island somewhere in the Pacific, Dr. James Andrews and Thomas Davis huddled over Andrews' secret creation; the world's first true bionic knee. Should they dare go through with it? After all, the only testing conducted up to then was with a previously hobbled kangaroo. After much discussion, it was given the green light by Thomas, and the rest is history.

Thomas is now approximately 8% faster and stronger than he was as a 23 year old rookie.

Look for these results to be published soon in all the major medical journals.

Oh, and the Illuminati? It exists, and Andrews is in it. Along with Cam of course.

Just give away the whole farm whydontcha?!?!

Meah, at least you didn't tell everyone about the Blueminati.....
