Arguing about Cam's next contract.... I find that kind of silly, especially when some are actually rooting for a "bigger the better" deal. He will be getting a solid payday, it will be for the Panthers, and he deserves it.

Howard stern is the best thing to happen to radio ever. It will be a sad day when hes gone. No one conducts a better interview than him.

He's a terrible interviewer.... He pulls teeth to get controversial answers... No thoughtful questions

#2962208 Panthers Front Office has lost it!

Posted by ed bell on 18 September 2014 - 07:24 AM

Even I am granted due process. What would happen to me while I awaited trail would be determined by my leadership. Definitely.

If found guilty by a jury of my peers I could be released or they take rank, pay ect.

And no, this behavior is not tolerated.

I'm not defending what GH did or didn't do, he is ignorant for putting himself and us in this situation in the first place.

I am defending his right to due process.

I don't get the disconnect here. He's getting his legal due process. Management went to the mat for him on this entire issue.

I'm disappointed in Rivera, DG, and JR.

Don't understand this one bit. What in the hell are they supposed to do here?

Blame whomever you like, but Advertising rules this..... Without it there is no such thing as the NFL.

I'm preparing myself for five more today, six tomorrow, and possibly three drunk submissions during and after the Thursday night NFL game.

Lol at worrying about "looking past" the next game, as if the board's focus guides the team.

#2957395 PFT: NFL may suspend Hardy

Posted by ed bell on 16 September 2014 - 10:06 AM

Here is my question.

Let's say they suspend him until his court date.

That is 5 games suspended plus one deactivation as punishment. Then what?

If he is guilty? You give him one game? Policy is 6 games and he already has 5. Another 6? Then that is 11 games and a deactivation as punishment.....which is far more than the league policy.

If innocent? You suspended a man for 5 games and deactiviated him for one while due process played out?

It just seems there is fault no matter what happens. Nothing makes sense to do IMO

Why not suspend him for whatever the league determines appropriate for getting a guilty decision in District Court , let him appeal on the grounds that he has a scheduled jury trial soon and let his appeal extend to that event. All sides get what they want, it will just get implemented in a realistic time frame instead of the instant gratification that people seem to think they are entitled to with everything these days.

I think the RB position is going to morph into a revolving door position that sees us looking more for bargain talent than high priced top end vets. Similar to how the secondary is working now.
