The thing I don't get with the dress rehearsal thing is then I'm less impressed by our performance against kc. That is assuming they didn't treat it like a dress rehearsal as we did. You saw tonight what a team game planning vs one that doesn't looks like. Just makes me wonder why we weren't as effective against the chiefs as the pats were against us. Now obviously if the chiefs game planned as well for game 2 then all this means nothing.

I'm hearing Cooks is really impressing in NO, but I'm glad we got Benji....his massive hands are
perfect for catching Cam's cannon throws. noodle arm Brees wouldn't know about that

I decided to come to saints camp today to check it out since it's in my neck of the woods and they held a scrimmage. Saw cooks run mostly with the second team but he was very impressive with the ball in his hands. And in case you're wondering I wore my NFC south champions shirt.

True story... I was home alone and the mood hit me. Fired up the seXBox and found some good viewing material. I drop my pants and sit on the couch. Unknown to me a yellow jacket was just chilling on the couch. That bastard stung me right on the taint. Needless to say I couldn't finish.

A stung taint and blue balls. That's a pretty crappy night

Yes, go McDermott to someone else before the 9th pick!  Go McDermott!

This scenario is so ideal. That means we don't get him and someone from the top 8 falls. Now that's a win/win

I feel the same way really wish that tweet was from someone less reputable.

#2818375 Rod Higgins Stepped down.

First thing that crossed my mind was this could be somehow related to the Great White Hope.

If so I'm hoping that Higgins wanted him and that's why he's gone.

Update on my situation. After having a lot more activity with interviews and such in recent weeks I was able to secure my first job in my career. This comes 6 months after graduating and plenty of job searching. The whole process has sucked but it feels good to finally get that opportunity. I am excited to finally put my degree to use.

#2799924 Suggestions for life in corporate America?

Posted by PantherMan89 on 25 May 2014 - 09:36 PM

I don't have a lot to offer as I am short on experience as well. However, I found during my internship that it is very important to be nice to everybody. Don't think of anyone to be beneath you (not that you would). Everything from secretaries to maintenance to execs. I did not have a lot of face time with the higher ups other than a how are you doing but in my exit interview they all mentioned how much others around the office complimented me. This often times had nothing to do with the job I did as much as how I treated them. It could mean the difference between being offered a job and not. I know this all sounds like a no brainer but about 6 others interned with me and I know of more than a few who were not liked for this reason.

I'll be working at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn this summer in a security management role...technically it is an internship but it pays really well and I wanted to take any opportunity I could in the career path I am actively trying to pursue. Excited to work the NBA Draft and various concerts but I wish the Nets were still in the hunt for a title.

Congrats sounds like a great opportunity
