#3149355 Rivera: "Learned from first Atlanta game to stay aggressive"

Posted by WCUcats on 22 December 2014 - 01:48 PM

"Cannot expect to win this football game by kicking field goals" Quotes provided per S.Reed and J.Person. So Rivera is saying all the right things today at the podium today. He really should have come to this conclusion after previous Atlanta games (actually we have heard this song before), but better late then never. Here's hoping that he doesn't get sphincter freeze when it comes down to the aggressive attitude. Hopefully he takes Shula aside and relates to him that the red zone play calling needs to produce. They can beat this team if they stick to their guns and do what they say. Pound the piss out of them with Stewart then slice them up with K.B, Cotch, and Olsen. Have faith in the offense to get a yard or two when needed and go for it. If your going to talk the talk , you better walk the walk.

That's funny because he cut Avant for saying the exact same thing.

I have been bailed on for my extra ticket. So I am offering it free to the huddle. The huddle member who best trashed Appalachian st. and or the Saints gets the ticket.

The ticket is in section 101 row 2. It is directly behind the end zone.

Fug App St. Fug the Saints. Let's go!

#3142021 If Atlanta AND Cleveland win this weekend....

Posted by WCUcats on 18 December 2014 - 03:37 PM

It would remind of me of that year where we started 1-7 and went on a run to possibly make the playoffs. We needed to win the last game and the redskins needed to beat the vikings. Well the redskins won the last game and of course we lost. If my memory is correct, we tried a long field goal in the end which ended up being blocked. That game hurt knowing that we would have made the playoffs at 8-8 and we were considered a team that no one wanted to play in the playoffs

I was at that game, it was against the Saints. So depressing. However before our last drive which resulted in a blocked 56 yard field goal attempt the whole stadium started cheering... Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake. That was a pretty cool moment. I believe it was also the last game Rickey was a reciever in Carolina.

God I have been disappointed so many times...

#3131311 Justin Blackmon

Posted by WCUcats on 12 December 2014 - 04:47 PM

The odds of drafting a serviceable player in the 7th around right now is round 19%. Let say there is a 19% chance Blackmon can get his stuff straight. If he does he is not serviceable he is Pro Bowl or HOF caliber player. Well worth the risk in my opinion and people can change.

Cris Carter is a great example of what Blackmon can become. He doesn't have a history of violence, the guy has a disease. He should be forgiven for that if he takes steps to change his life.

#3129802 What is your excitement level for this game?

The NFL playoff system is no different than grading on a curve. Remember that from your school days?

Now apply the same logic to your kid coming home with the best math test score in the class and it was graded on a curve. At the top of the math test, your kid even got a gold star and note from the teacher, "Well Done! Best in the class!"

And then you look at the grade and it's a 35%. Are you excited for your kid and so proud of him/her that you take the entire family out for ice cream? Or.... are you thinking, geez, 35%. Just a little better than 1 out of every 3 questions right.

35%.

It's the winning percentage of the Panthers right now at 4-8-1.....

If my kids 35% gave me the opportunity for me to go get hammered at a home playoff game, and the possibility of a Super Bowl??

I would give him a high five, tell everyone in the neighborhood how awesome my kid is because he is the smartest kid in class, and hows theirs suck because they have to stay at home and watch on TV. Then I would buy him his favorite players jersey and take him to the game.

8.5.

I'm thinking the stadium will be rocking though. It will be noticeably empty though for two reasons there are no Bucs fans to buy up the tickets and all the wine and cheese and bandwagon pansies have packed it in for the season.

The only people that are going to be there are the ones who care enough to to get loud.

#3129254 Free Parking

Posted by WCUcats on 10 December 2014 - 05:48 PM

Is there anyway to park for free Sunday for the Bucs game? I dont mind walking a couple miles

There are some lots north of the stadium on 6tb st. that are 5 dollars to park. Anywhere that's free is somewhere you don't want to leave your car though.

We are surprised saints fans are conspiracy theorists?

These are the same people that blamed Bush for using a hurricane machine to destroy their city instead of cleaning the mess up.

#3116215 Mike Remmers - Perfect Pass Blocking Grade

Posted by WCUcats on 02 December 2014 - 07:25 PM

Small sample size of course, this dude is our best tackle by far. The fact Bell and more shockingly Chandler have ever been starting tackles shows we have no one competent running/coaching this organization.

#3112524 Yes we lost today, but my hell has just begun

Posted by WCUcats on 30 November 2014 - 09:17 PM

My Panthers suck out loud. I spent all day putting up lights. But you know what really sucks ass? This little son of a bitch showed up today and I have to move his ass around every night from now until Christmas Eve.
attachicon.gifImageUploadedByCarolinaHuddle1417398821.940665.jpg if you don't know what it is consider yourself lucky. So to all you people who don't have to deal with one of these little shits and are bitching and moaning about our Panthers, I don't want to hear it.

Can he play OT?

#3103137 Ouch, awful NFC South note

Posted by WCUcats on 24 November 2014 - 01:25 PM

Exactly. I'm going to be so mad if we when and pick 21st when record wise we deserve and need a top 10 pick

I would gladly trade a top 10 pick for a home playoff game. Once we are in anything can happen, and if nothing else I get an excellent excuse to get inappropriately drunk.
