#2991328 shula is a symptom, not the disease

Now JR problem is loyalty. He would let something drag out and get crusty old before he make changes.

Winning isn't a top priority for JR and that's what's most frustrating about this franchise.

#2991206 This week Shula says we have to find ways to get in the endzone

Man I wish Shula would just stop talking

#2990127 Time To Focus Our Attention On Da Bears

We're definitely capable of beating this bears team. But this team has given me no reason to think that they will.

Chicago is alot like Detroit so we'll need a strong game from our secondary and that doesn't make me feel overly confident.

I wonder if the Bears will stick the rookie on our rookie. A Fuller/Benjamin matchup could be fun to watch.

Don't forget we're starting the Josh Norman

#2989722 Rivera: Panthers Tempted to Unleash Cam?

Posted by *FreeFua* on 29 September 2014 - 10:14 PM

4 season later and the fans have more ideas about how to run this team than the coaches. Even thou those ideas can be changed in the twinkling of an eye, at least they are ideas. From what I've seen, this team lacks imagination.

Did you see the TD Alshon Jeffrey scored yesterday? I've said before I love how the Bears use Alshon and how they find different ways to get him the ball.

Tonight Alex Smith has managed to move the ball downfield many teams without actually having to throw downfield. Must be a nice luxury to have.

It's the same vanilla BS with Shula every week. Your post above was perfect. Before this year it's always been "Cam needs to learn how to become a pocket passer" everyone took his running for granted. Now we have ZERO running game and it's "Cam needs to start running more" the kid can't win here with this fan base.

Jimmy G just makes alot quicker decisions than Brady. He's come in and moved the offense down the field immediately. Pats should go with JG from now and try to salvage the season

#2989676 Rivera: Panthers Tempted to Unleash Cam?

Posted by *FreeFua* on 29 September 2014 - 09:51 PM

I have no idea why Cam would ever want to stay once his contract is up. This team has done nothing to show him their serious about winning, something Cam clearly cares alot about.

DG goes ahead and extends Shula and Rivera after one season where the bounces went their way. Sure doesn't take much to earn an extension for the Panthers. Now we're stuck with a defensive minded head coach and a clueless OC. Cam will continue to be handcuffed as long as he stays here.

This team needs to show Cam they're serious about winning and make much needed changes immediately. Something needs to be ton about the OL, make a trade or something. It's become unacceptable at this point.

The panthers should unleash Mike Shula from his job.

Which would then lead to the actual unleashing of Cam

#2989225 Panthers are signing RB Chris Ogbonnaya, per league source.

I hope they are not expecting him to block

he can play special teams though

#2988068 Rivera: Team Will Look for Veteran Help at Running Back

It doesn't matter who we bring in, almost impossible to run behind this line. Rivera and the FO need to address the real issue and that's the OL.

#2987423 Cam's touch and anticipation

Posted by *FreeFua* on 29 September 2014 - 08:28 AM

"Still not perfect"... Come on...

People need to stop expecting perfection from anyone on this team not just Cam. This is why Cam will never be able to please everyone here, expectations for him are unrealistic. His pocket passing has been phenomenal this season. Give Cam a line and he'll make due with any WR group, that much is obvious now.

I'm guessing not many watched Brees miss some throws last night. Is he still developing? No QB is perfect, missed throws are going to happen.

#2986610 Where has star dissapeared to?

Posted by *FreeFua* on 28 September 2014 - 09:22 PM

IMO disciplined, run-stopping DE play has been a much bigger issue. this is where hardy's loss hurt the most. he had gotten goddamn good at stopping the run.

missing davis this week didn't help anything either.

I was against tagging Hardy in the offseason and was pretty vocal about it. I felt we had bigger needs and tagging him was a luxury we couldn't afford.

However, after the Tampa game I posted I was glad we tagged Hardy. He had 4 tackles and 1 sack and the guy is literally always around the ball. Yeah, he's a little "off" as a person but that's what makes him so effective imo. He has a motor that always goes 100%.

Looking back, maybe this is how DG felt. The money saved from tagging hardy out weighed whatever it would bring in and I can see why he felt that way. Minus the 2 drives in that Tampa game we played a near perfect defensive game and were able to play a 2013 type of game. Low scoring, defensive type game.

If Hardy is found innocent JR needs to put winning ahead of all else for once and they need to bring him back. He's an elite defensive end and those don't grow on trees.

Losing Hardy has literally hurt every single defensive players game

#2986180 Rivera and Cam post game presser

cam cliche cliche cliche I have to play better cliche cliche

Would you rather him speak the truth and have him throw those 5 losers protecting him under the bus?

He shows true leadership by saying "I" and ALWAYS takes all the blame for the teams loss.
