Wish they'd put this much effort into checking out DGB

#3304384 If it came down to Peat or Perriman....

His stock was already rising before his pro day. Everyone knew DHB bc he was fast. People are just now finding out that Perriman is fast.

Exactly, there were a few of us high on Perriman before his pro day (draft forum). Everyone that doesn't pay close attention to the draft is just finding out about him because of his 40. There's a lot more to like about Perriman than just his 40. Love the TO comp.

#3304350 Breshad Perriman, WR UCF

TERRELL OWENS 2.0!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nice comp chuck

TO had some serious 'wtf like' drops and so will Perriman. But both guys can out muscle, out run and out jump defenders.

#3302561 Panthers claim OT Jonathan Martin

Posted by *FreeFua* on 27 March 2015 - 04:35 PM

10 to 1 you would not say that to his face if there were no laws or friends to protect you and no way out of the room.

Would he tell on me though?

Just kidding!!!!!!! Obviously not, but I couldn't resist jumping at the opportunity of rustling a few jimmies on this late friday afternoon.

But on a serious note, a mean streak isn't something you can just develop. Hanging out with Norwell ain't going to do jack poo, it's something you have or you don't. Like I said I don't mind this signing because of the low risk, I haven't paid any attention to the product Martin brings on the field so I can't bash this signing.

Needs to find a mean streak. Hang out with Norwell and Trai...
find the nasty.

Either you have it or you don't.

Ravens pick after us.. if DeVante Parker is there for us - could you see us passing on him? maybe if Andrus Peat and Parker are there it would be tough to choose

KB and Parker would make for the greatest jump ball redzone combo in history

Justin Hardy is a 32 year old Jerricho Cotchery with better ball skills. Which isn't a bad thing but... Flame away

He's a smooth route runner with good hands and body control, however he has no shake after the catch and isn't going to burn you.

#3301215 Jaelen Strong

Posted by *FreeFua* on 26 March 2015 - 08:24 PM

kid still has more than adequate speed. Also those clips were from 2013, his very first year of playing D1 football.

He catches anything thrown his way and has been said at the combine etc to have the best hands in the whole draft (had zero drops at his pro day). As far as the "stiffness". KB was Much more "stiff" coming out and a decent bit slower. With Ricky P and them hiring a second guy to help coach the WRs. Having those 2 coaches can help with the fluid routes and route tree. Strong has solid speed and "elite" Hands which are hard to teach. Would still be ecstatic to have him in the first opposite of KB. With Perriman's crazy pro day #'s he's going to shoot up the boards pushing Strong our way.

Here's his second last college game against Zona. He had 4 catches...

1- trademark back shoulder

2- corner was playing 8 yards off (top of screen), and if Strong has a chance to build up speed he'll beat you deep much like KB. Corner doesn't touch him combined with a little confusion between corner and safety and Strong burns them.

3- Nice one handed TD grab. He was the first option the play before and failed to get open.

4- Corner playing off again so Jaelen sits down and takes his 5 yards.

He has a crucial drop on 3rd and 12, as you can see the corner is draped all over him but since he doesn't gain separation most of the time he needs to catch this ball.

He ran another out and up earlier in the game I'm not sure if the ball was catchable as it ends up out of bounds but Strong failed to gain any separation and the DB ends up in better position to make a play on the ball.

I actually thought KB moved pretty well coming out, plus KB uses his body and his hands to help him create separation.

I will say that although Strong puts himself in tough situations he does make some nice grabs.

#3301033 same as last year, Rivera says Cam has got to become a more sound QB

Posted by *FreeFua* on 26 March 2015 - 06:39 PM

Can anyone name any weapon on the Dolphins team? Ryan F'ing Tannehill, passed for more yds, higher completion %, threw for more TDs and had a higher rate than Cam with a far worse oline. But yeah, it's weapons.

Is this a joke?

How about that left tackle they took in the 1st round last year who has been a stud?

How about the WR they took in the 2nd last year who had 84 receptions and has arguably one of the best sets of hands in the NFL?

How about that guy who had 10tds and is considered one of the better deep threats in the game? Who Tannehill struggled to connect with but he still managed to get 10tds
