#3199180 End of the year Presser

Posted by General_Purr on 11 January 2015 - 09:12 PM

I hope not.. Theres still emotion tied to the season and I don't know 2 days after a playoff loss is the time to start chopping people.

I just hope we keep players with the soul of the team.. not ship anyone away who is "old" or "fiery"

#3198810 Julius Peppers

Posted by General_Purr on 11 January 2015 - 07:31 PM

Peppers is a huge piece for other teams to scheme for and plan.

Glad he is still playing at such a high level, that strip on Murray was huge for them.. he is in shape and playing in the coldest place to play in the NFL, its hard to question if he wants to play football. Sure looks like it.

Happy for him, people seem to forget how beastly he was at Carolina. I have a friend who says "oh if he played for carolina he must be good"

uh.... Peppers was a huge part of the defense here. He was the OG Watt, he caught TD passes... he blocked on goal line. Dude is awesome!

#3198556 hell why not. stirring the hardy pot - wants back in carolina...will play for...

Posted by General_Purr on 11 January 2015 - 06:40 PM

And the Pats would've been a better team with Aaron Hernandez last year. Some things are more important than football.

Lol lets not even try to compare Hardy to a double murderer.

Hardy has never been in trouble before, he fuged around with a crazy white girl coked up on a rampage, he is a defensive player in the NFL, a fuging savage.

He didn't kill anyone, theres no marks on this KNOWN crazy lady, only allegations.

Yeah some things are more important than football, lives lost no doubt, but not some crazy bitch.

#3187551 RR not ruling out calling up Hill

Posted by General_Purr on 08 January 2015 - 05:16 PM

Isnt Hill younger than Benjamin?

Dude has had some teeder deep balls dropped, and again amazing catches. Seems to be the case for Hill too. He's made some incredible catches but drops.

4.3 can stretch Maxwells bitch ass down the field, either for Cam to come running a 40 yard run and stiff arm Earl Thomas into the coffee bean turn, or toss one up for a 6'4 freak to see what he can do.

just the flu?!

the flu would knock his big ass out for that game.. hes a strong muhfug but the flu will take all that away

#3164467 The Bersin Factor ?

Posted by General_Purr on 30 December 2014 - 04:22 PM

Im nervous on every punt return. I feel like the odds of us fumbling and giving them a huge game changing position is always there.

If that happens in a playoff game that could very well seal the game for the other team.

Our coverage sucks, our blocking sucks, I don't know. Fozzy might be one of the best in the open field with the ball more than anyone on the team.. but I don't want to see him get demolished with no blocks. Bersin is a pretty big guy. Just catch the ball plz.

#3163333 Josh Gordon at Vet Min next season?

Posted by General_Purr on 29 December 2014 - 11:09 PM

Absolutley... I know this is a conservative place and a place who VERY much cares about things other than the sport, the football aspect of things.

I feel like the Panthers are a very disciplined team, players respect Ron, no doubt poo happens in life, no doubt playing in the NFL requires a certain type of testosteroned fueled human alpha, no doubt not every man will be perfect out of 70 men on a team.

But if Josh Gordans biggest problem is smoking a joint... BRING HIM HERE. He is a beast on the field.. he runs sick routes, he is young, he is fast and can jump. His hands are better than KB on a consistant basis (not knocking the rookie). You oldies may freak out over a guy like Frank Alexander but as you can tell the team still supports their fellow members regardless of mishaps. Cleveland is a dumpster fire all around... Josh is their best weapon and had insane numbers.

Cam needs more WR who can make plays.. I hope this is not a team who goes out for old vets every year for 1 or 2 year deals. Maybe im just horny for a playmaker on offense.

#3160649 Shower Thomas Davis with your adoration here....

Thomas Davis = Carolina Panther football

#3160203 Melvin White

Posted by General_Purr on 28 December 2014 - 09:17 PM

He didn't play well early on, but that was just like 95% of the rest of our team too. We sucked ass the first few weeks, all around. Compare them to now its crazy different feeling. Melvin is pretty good and can get better.. But Norman is playing fuging awesome right now and Bene is going to be a sick playmaker. Melvin is more of an outside corner guy too. Bene can play anywhere.

Also a plus is White is pretty good size for a DB..

Mike Smith threw some nice INTs

Star eating

#3152713 SI Most Disappointing - Star

Posted by General_Purr on 24 December 2014 - 11:16 PM

He played great against the Browns.. that ankle injury is hard on a big guy like him. Star will always be underrated because he is a run stopper.. He can hang onto a blocker and shrug him off with one arm and clog the RB. Plus

DID YOU GUYS SEE HIM CHASE JOHNNY FOOTBALL out of bounds?! Luke went freaking nuts when he saw that. Star and Short will be beast here for a long time... unless they have sacks on sacks and we have to pay them then the huddle vote will say walk.

#3151652 Philly Brown Development

Posted by General_Purr on 23 December 2014 - 09:57 PM

I think one thing about Rivera is players do respect him.. Rivera is a football guy, you can tell by the way he talks to the guys in the locker room. But its still an alpha respect. You see "players" coach like Atlantas HC.... Atlanta has some talented guys, but they don't seem to rally around the coach and shut up and listen when he talks.

Rivera was a linebacker, he's a large man. I think he can most def improve in the way he adapts during gametime but off the field he's a legit man

#3142415 Johnny Manziel....

Posted by General_Purr on 19 December 2014 - 12:52 AM

just worried about coming out weird after a huge road win. Def don't be turning the ball over giving them field position.
