Ranking the Super Bowls (NFL Article)

26 January 2015 - 11:38 PM

So... our Super Bowl vs the Patriots came in at a pretty high ranking.

I do think our Super Bowl has been one of the more entertaining ones. I know it's a painful reminder, but hey, we fared well against a team that knew our play calls.

7. Super Bowl XXXVIII - New England Patriots 32, Carolina Panthers 29

Gil Brandt's take: "The Patriots-Panthers Super Bowl had a slow first half and a great second half. Neither team could get going in the first half. But in the second, each team exchanged touchdowns and put up a lot of points. And, of course, then the Panthers kicked off and it went out of bounds ... that was a huge play."

I can still see Jake Delhomme rolling to his left and uncorking a long touchdown pass -- pure streetballin'. An exquisitely entertaining game. (AP Photo/Mark J. Terrill)

We're Coming, Seattle (Pump Up Vid)

09 January 2015 - 05:38 AM

So I know we've had quite a few pump up videos after the past few weeks, but you can never have too many pump up videos.

Someone shared this one with me on Facebook. I can't wait for Saturday.

Madden Roster FINALLY updated

09 January 2015 - 05:18 AM

And we are a solid 82.

An OVR 5 point increase. Not too shabby.

Bene and Norman both got an OVR increase of 5 pts each. Nice to finally see them get the recognition they deserve.

Edit: I forgot to include the link. I blame PandaPancake...

NFL Films Preview: Panthers vs Cards

31 December 2014 - 10:01 PM

Well, I used to watch these every week. I stopped watching in the middle of the year because they started to get depressing and they were a major buzzkill.

Well, I can tell you that this weeks edition will certainly pump you up. They spend the first 2 minutes and 30 seconds talking about us and then about 50 seconds talking about the Cardinals.

Here's the link to the video. Enjoy!

Cam has been nominated for the GMC Never Say Never Moment of Week 17. This is his 2nd nomination in as many weeks.

Show some support for Ace Boogie.

Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers

Newton helps Panthers make NFC South history: Quarterback Cam Newton led the Carolina Panthers to consecutive playoff appearances for the first time in franchise history, and in doing so helped the Panthers become the first team to win back-to-back NFC South crowns. A 34-3 road win over the Atlanta Falcons featured two scores for Newton and two scores by thePanthers' defense.
