They Paid Smitty 3 to 5 mil. to leave!!  They Paid Jake 12 mil to leave!!  If I was fired and some body gave me 3 mil to go they would be ever in my Prayers!

Don't seem like the front office has done any Smith bashing, He's gone and business as usual as it should be.  Wish him and the Ravens well!!  Hope we beat them in Super Bowl.

He lived with that Chip on his shoulder and it finally caught up to Him.  Fun to watch and wish him the Best!!

#2637646 Greg Hardy waiting on phone call, 'crapload' of money

Posted by Catweisers on 31 January 2014 - 08:32 PM

He just might have been a product of the system,  them big tackles in the middle CJ on other end Luke and TD behind them and Kraken becomes the one they give one guy to block!

I think he will be gone and don't think we miss a beat.

#2531264 Kenn named Pro Strength Coach of Year

Posted by Catweisers on 06 December 2013 - 08:49 PM

The coin at end of post was coin flipped at Super Bowl we lost, ment # 0235.  Want another coin but that one will have a win for Panthers behind it!!

Wife got it for me for Christmas long ago, she's nice that way.

Kenn, he seems like the real deal to me and sure glad injuries not plaguing so far.

Already getting nervous about the Aints Sunday Nite.  Defense got pretty well and Offense getting better every week and that with Defense is scarry.

Did search didn't find this and thought it was a great honor.  It seemed like we had less injuries and this man could be a good part of the reason why.  Good read.

Kenn, who won the collegiate version of the National Strength and Conditioning Association award at Arizona State in 2003, beat out Bill Foran of the Miami Heat and Matt Krause of the Cincinnati Reds for the inaugural pro award.

Another piece on our defense.

It's hard not to be aware. The Carolina Panthers rank near the top of the league in virtually every defensive category.

I love it Gooooooooo Panthers!!!!!!!

Yep, Ole Salt and Pepper, Sam Mills was a great defense!  That game in Green Bay hurt bad and we waited til 2003 to get to smell SB Trophy!!

Now, we got something truly special this year!!  Defense can carry us all the way to The Promise Land coupled with an Offense that is growing

from week to week.

Looking forward to seeing us cruise through rest of schedule.  Cross your fingers we stay healthy!!!!!!!!!!!!

GOOOOO Panthers!!!!!!!!!!!

#2452077 Frank Alexander....

His 1st year was a nut case 2nd year crashed motorcycle before training camp then came in beat up and season showed it.  This is what gets me, he hurts him self doesn't do well but we still pay him.  Fast forward to now and looks like past times would allow him to cut Panthers some slack.  They sure seemed to cut him some.  Oh well, as long as we do the right thing is all that maters, he shouldn't worry about it.

This defense is for real and the show is just beginning.

#2401031 Good Article on Chase Blackburn

Posted by Catweisers on 27 September 2013 - 02:02 PM

A slim one-point favorite at home, the Panthers humiliated the Giants, 38-0, while sacking two-time Super Bowl MVP quarterback Eli Manning seven times, including a New York team-record six times in the opening half

Tells a lot about him thought it was good.

#2316037 Hardy shoots him-self in (metaphorical) foot!

Posted by Catweisers on 08 August 2013 - 04:20 PM

Hakeem Nicks and Greg Hardy had contract devalued for missing workouts.

http://sports.yahoo....-130546100.html

Two players that had "de-escalator" language in their rookie contracts were New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks and Carolina Panthers defensive end Greg Hardy, both of whom skipped their team's offseason workout programs

Hardy is represented by Drew Rosenhaus, who did not negotiate his client's current rookie contract. That deal was negotiated by Hardy's original agent, Ian Greengross.

Not one of my favorite agents either

Think he talked Timmy B to hold out

#2268857 Panthers Rookies that can make an Impact

Posted by Catweisers on 26 June 2013 - 01:25 PM

Pretty good read on yahoo searched didn't find it.

http://sports.yahoo....-150500716.html

Kenjon Barner, RB - I know the Panthers have a great one-two punch already with DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart in the backfield, but both of those guys have shown their proneness to injuries. Barner really thrived his last two seasons at Oregon. His junior year he ran for 939 yards and scored 11 touchdowns. He came back his senior season and ran for 1,767 yards and 21 touchdowns. He ran for over 100 yards in six games last season. Four of those games he ran for over 190 yards. Carolina has a fast paced offense, similar to what Barner flourished in at Oregon. Barner is exactly what the Panthers are looking for in terms of a change-of-pace back.

I say its been two years of growing for a lot of those involved. I'd say we watched Coaches grow, Line Backers grow,
Signal Caller grow, the Whole body of the Panthers have grown. I think we Give Him one more year!!!
