"Cam is going to the sideline? Why is he not celebrating in the endzone? He just must be a bad teammate, don't worry Louis Murphy, we'll give you some love since you can't get it from your quarterback"

Damned if he does. Damned if he doesn't.

I'll come by for sure. Staying at the Blake downtown, me and my brother are looking for some Carolina hospitality. First panther game for both of us, coming all the way from Texas. Thanks for the open invitation.

Break before practice to reflect on the great talk with@ericthomasbtc... to be a champion you have to do the little things#driven

This is awesome. I love Eric Thomas (etthehiphoppreacher on YouTube). That pumps me up that he is having any involvement with the panthers at all. Check this guy out, he is the ultimate motivator and inspirator.

i just did the same thing. i do every year before football starts. i told her i love mtv and my kids love nickelodeon and are really sad that they can't watch their shows (oops, i don't have any kids!). i told her that my only reason i got directv was for sunday ticket, and i see they offer it free to new customers. she said the best she could do was 50% off sunday ticket, and throw in starz and showtime for kids movies for my imaginary children. i said i don't think that is worth it to me, and i would really like to have sunday ticket for free to compensate for the lost channels. i told her my contract is up and nothing is keeping me tied to continue my service unless i have sunday ticket. she said i can give you sunday ticket for free and the movie channels for 6 months, i told her done deal, thank you for your cooperation

don't be an ass and they'll work with you.

#1714067 Michael Floyd Visits With Panthers

floyd could very easily be bpa and i wouldn't mind the pick... but with all the holes we have, this place would be unbearable for weeks if we took him

this hell hole is already almost unbearable

#1697515 Brace Yourselves, Saints Fans (Merged Threads)

An announcement by the NFL about discipline for the New Orleans Saints for their bounty program is expected shortly, according to the NFL Network.

We don’t know the exact nature of the discipline yet, but the league has said previously it could include suspensions of players, coaches and front-office officials, fines and the loss of draft picks.

As soon as the official announcement is made, I’ll be back to analyze what it means for the Saints.

http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcsouth

PAYTON, WILLIAMS, LOOMIS SUSPENDED

Saints head coach Sean Payton will be suspended without pay for one season; GM Mickey Loomis suspended for first eight games; former DC Gregg Williams suspended indefinitely

All below from Jason LaCanfora on twitter:

Saints fined $500K and Sean payton suspended w/o pay for the 2012 season. Mickey Loomis suspended w/o pay for 8 games...

Gregg Williams is suspended indefinitely. Commish will review Williams situation at end of 2012 season and consider reinstatement

Payton's suspension begins April 1, saints assistant head coach Joe Vitt suspended w/o pay for 6 games

So, indeed, the punishments were every bit as severe as most thought were possible. And player discipline still to come

Saints will also have to forfeit 2nd round picks in 2012 and 2013 on top of $500K fine

So Saints don't pick til the 3rd round in April, and will be picking without Sean Payton around, as his suspension starts April 1

The league does not stipulate when GM Mickey Loomis begins suspension but it notes 8 reg season games. With the Brees contract looming...

It appears as if Loomis could still operate the club til Week 1. Again, no date is listed for his start

#1639802 Cam on Jim Rome

Posted by D34Williams on 02 February 2012 - 01:45 PM

Didn't talk about anything new

Talked about the speed of the game, being a veteran to veterans on the team. Cam said he had the mentality of individualism in feeling like he was different from his teammates, and that he didn't want to put up with losing.

Jim asked him about the Mississippi state investigation, and cam didn't want to talk anything bout it. Said it didn't matter now and that going back and getting into all of that would be pointless. Said that if his dad really did do something bad then the investigation would surely have turned up with something.

Talked about Gatorade deal and taking care of his body. Used Ray Lewis as an example, wants to treat his body and have the longevity like he has had.

At work too, if I remember more I'll edit.

#1632856 just deleted my facebook page

Posted by D34Williams on 28 January 2012 - 07:36 PM

good luck. i deleted mine about over a year ago, and it's been great. I haven't looked back, or missed it at all. Your page will stay active for another 2 weeks, so don't try to log in or anything like that (not that you would). But Facebook keeps your account dormant, and if you attempt to log back in, it's like you never left. So if you have your Facebook integrated with anything else, twitter, apps, etc. don't log into those, or alter those so that your Facebook is not in any way connected. i'm sure you know all of this by now, kudos anyway
