In Topic: Android / Galaxy Users

20 February 2015 - 11:34 AM

As an employee at AT&T, I can safely say that nothing beats the battery life of The Note 4. The iPhone 6+ has a good battery too but The Galaxies still blow it out of the water by an hour. On top of that, the battery is removable AND there are features to milk the last remaining 10% (3.5 days, I believe).

To even get close to the 6 plus in terms of battery life The Galaxy phones need to make use of their ultra power save mode, which hinders the user experience imo. Who wants to view their phone in gray scale?

Ive read enough /r/atheism and the TB that the only thing about this that's shocking is that it happened in our "backyard" and that it was a limited as it was.

The way most atheists I "know" (allowing for the fact that you don't really know anyone you've only ever interacted with on the web) condescend, name call, and question the intelligence of the people of this world who choose faith, it was really only a matter of time.  All that dehumanization was bound to find a troubled mind eventually.

/r/atheism is full of assclowns, and their holier than thou attitude only reflects a minority of the atheist population. There's a reason you don't hear about a lot of people killing in the name of atheism. It's because it doesn't happen very often. So, yeah, this actually does kind of shock me. Regardless of the reasoning it was an inexcusable act of violence and my thoughts go out the people affected by it.

In Topic: UPDATED! Huddle Mods Needed

I browse the huddle all day. Typically view every topic.

Previous experience as a mod on a now defunct board. Ban hammer skills are still epic.

Well spoken, reasonably minded individual.

Will bribe you with Apple pie.

As a nurse you know little more than I do.  Life expectancies have increased generally because of better diets and sanitation.  Medicine has little to do with increasing life expectation in a healthy population.

Really??? Who are you to say what she does and doesn't know? That's definitely the most asinine statement I've read all week.
