#2776269 A Theory on Gettlebro's Strategy for the Offensive Line.

Posted by coralreefer_1 on 10 May 2014 - 10:36 AM

Kind of out of the blue and forgive me for not making an entire thread to express this thought....

Really though, isnt it time to give the Bell hate a rest? The guy is on our team, and has apparently earned the respect of those who..you know, actually get paid big money to decide who is and is not on the team. He may not be an MVP candidate, but I think he deserves more respect than what many around here are giving him. The man has missed only one game in his three years here, commands a paultry 200,000+ salary cap this year, and is a big darn mofo to have up in there.

In fact, if we are doingt he adapt-a-panther again this year..i wanna adopt him for no other reason than I think he gets WAY too much hate around here than he deserves considering the above.

#2752234 A terrifying "what if"

Posted by coralreefer_1 on 26 April 2014 - 06:42 AM

Let me ponder on that while I am busy not giving a damn about what "might" have happened 3 years ago, and watching my sexy ass Asian gf make me a sandwich in her underwear~

#2694218 A kid's reaction to Smitty's release, and his awesome sister...

Posted by coralreefer_1 on 14 March 2014 - 09:22 AM

Man, if my kid slapped my camera like that, he would have ALOT more to cry about than Steve Smith...thats for sure!!!! Sad for a parent to allow such crap!

#2690527 There can be no doubt: Gettleman is in charge

Posted by coralreefer_1 on 13 March 2014 - 11:13 AM

As it should be. A boss is not a boss if they have no power over decisions (be they good or bad)

#2674346 Even Ebron wants Smitty to stay

Posted by coralreefer_1 on 04 March 2014 - 09:34 AM

I think everyone wants Smith to stay assuming it is within the budget.

With that said, in the slot, or on the fade...89 has dropped a good number of passes in the last two season..more than I have ever seen him drop (yes, despite my low post count, ive been with the team that long)

People seem to be focused on this "evaluation" and putting alot of emphasis an his drive/fire/leadership. He is being evaluated not only because of his cap hit..but his contribution to the team ON THE FIELD. He may command double teams, but that doesnt mean anything when there isnt a threat on the opposite side of the field.

I surely dont want to see Smith leave...would literally break my heart. But damn...his dropped passes lately have pissed me off (mainly because he used to be a sure fire catcher even triple-teamed)

#2666787 Steve Smith on Gettleman's "Evaluation" comment

Posted by coralreefer_1 on 26 February 2014 - 10:13 AM

I dont see the issue. I mean, we give Gman props for being a businessman and shooting straight, but at the same time people are acting like he should put that "business" persona aside and say that "89 is beyond evaluation because..well...he is sentimental to the organization"

Like everyone, I love me some SS. With that said, why should his performance not be evaluated like everyone elses?

#2665435 Gross is INDEED retiring

Posted by coralreefer_1 on 25 February 2014 - 11:42 AM

Ironic how some seem to be lamenting his loss (as a player) when just last offseason many were saying that he was getting old and losing a step...that his play was falling off, and we should find a replacement.

Personally, like a few others. I am glad to see him retire with an intact body, a good personal image, and on good terms with the team.

#2614580 NFL Total Access discusses Kaepernick mocking Cam

Posted by coralreefer_1 on 14 January 2014 - 06:41 AM

Agree. First of all, Cam opens himself up to this by doing that Superman bit every time he scores. Added to that the first down "point" every time he gets us a first down. Added to this also, one of our players (if not others) mocked Kap in the last game with the bicep kiss/elbow bow or whatever that crap it (someone here has that gif as their sig)

Its not a big deal. Insulting to us...yes...but its not as if we havent, or wouldnt have done the same darn thing.

Get over it guys

#2586963 So it looks like Ric Flair is playing for the other team

Posted by coralreefer_1 on 05 January 2014 - 08:13 AM

To hell with all these wannabe wrestlers mentioned.

If Flair is playing for the other team, then time to bring in the little known (to most of you who think wrestling began with WWE) yet hometown Magnum T.A.

#2577445 Remember the Kid Cam Gave A TD Ball and Fist Bump?

Posted by coralreefer_1 on 31 December 2013 - 11:15 AM

What I thought was more funny was the kid next to him in a Falcons jersey pouting as he watched the Panther dressed kid get a ball.

I bet that kid's father had a battle on his hands, as that kid likely went home a Panther fan...LOL

We need a gif of that poor kid's face~

#2565117 Christmas Day Menu

Posted by coralreefer_1 on 25 December 2013 - 08:38 AM

Christmas in Korea leaves me without that sweet honey baked ham and affordable turkey.

Which leaves me with beef/Italian sausage lasagna!

Washed down with some STRONG ass eggnog made when I was already half drunk and being very liberal with the rum.

Merry Merry day ahead~

Posted by coralreefer_1 on 25 December 2013 - 06:25 AM

Merry Christmas from S. Korea, to all of the huddle, and family and friends back in Raleigh area.
